Thank you for this informative video. I'm buying a interceptor next week here in NJ. And was trying to figure out which tires I wanted to upgrade to. Subbed
Just grabbed a Green GT 650....love the bike, and the spokes have to go for me. I have seen you can run a 150 on the rear but the chain guard has to be clearance a little.
Yes, I saw that video too. I didn't like that. For me the 140 looks just fine, it looks good from both the side and the rear!!! Did you watch my other video about all the mods done to my gt 650? Thanks 😊.
Did you weigh the wheels to see the difference. Please weigh the original wheels with tyres brakes and discs and let me know if you wouldn’t mind, it will help me
Are those wheels tubeless? I like the Interceptor 650, but there is no way in hell I'm riding a bike with tube type tires. The first thing I would do with those wheels is have them powdercoated silver. You have to replace the bearings and seals, removing them destroys them. The rest could be swapped over. The old tube type wheels/tires would be going into the dumpster anyway.
@@bigdummy7872 ??? I would like to have an Interceptor 650. But I won't ride a bike with tube type tires because of the huge number of flats I've had with tube type tires, which require a tow truck, compared to no flats with tubeless tires, which, even if I had a flat, most likely would not require a tow truck, just a simple plug in the tire. I'm not into black wheels, so I would have them powder coated silver, to make the bike look better. I have no use for tube type wheels, so I would either sell them, or throw them away. I can't imagine RE tube type wheels would have much $$$ value.
The wheel package really set it off, amazing looking now.
Thanks!!! Check out my other mr clean video detailing all of the mods so far:)

OK. Yes, my new wheels are tubeless. Much better and safer. You could have them powder coated any color you like 👍.
You can convert the spoke wheels to tubeless with a 3m kit.
very nice😊
Shempre!!!!!

Thanks for the positive feedback 😀
Spokes belong on that bike. What's next? Spinners?
