But it was fine for easy driving!
But the frame rotted out so bad by time car got 10 years old. But ran perfect
Reminds me of the old caprice classic 1970 2 door. My parents gave me to drive and I foolishly traded it away just because the transmission was slipping, which I’m sure you would’ve given me an E easy fix Scotty
In high school, my little Honda Civic got smoked by one of these.
They were probably in reverse.
Sexy impala.
must be some magic chemical that east the rust and replaces it with new metal?
The shut lines on the hood are not aligned either.
My 06 was a disgrace
That generation was widely considered to be the most problematic with tons of electronic gremlins. Tons of GM cost cutting occurring at this time.
@ Yeah I had the ss the 3.6 where complete piles not till the Camaro did they fit that
Made usa
My neighbor had the 1996 Buick Roadmaster estate wagon that had the same drivetrain and it would scoot along!
Vote blue
I have a feeling Scotty disagrees. 🤷♂️
@@chrismunro3624 He has claimed to support neither party earlier.
Are you pro-war!!? 😮💨
Vote Blue if you like the poo!!!!!!
@@joojoojeejee6058 Scotty is very smart in more ways than one. He has endorsed a candidate without actually saying it. God bless America and God bless Scotty Kilmer.
So we need to get rid of Chitty Cars and Political people that can't tie their shoes !
Or put their makeup on correctly.
NO FELONS!!!!!
There eating the cats and dogs
These are GREAT! Ive had mine since all the way back in high school.
Yeah Scotty, I've owned a '96 Caprice, a "Sheriff's Special",,,,, it had the L-99, it was a "smaller", less powerful LT.......so many of the SAME PARTS, much less H.P. 200/ 4.3 Ltr/ V-8.... great car, I made it get between 11 city, (driving like U, a maniac), and up to 34mpg on the FREEWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Trunk was like typical GM's.... long/wide/ flat....... limited on what you could put into it.......UNLIKE: a "FORD"/Lincoln........5 body trunk...........so deep, and useful. Great car though! Since it was a former cop car, I was told that "maybe" it doesn't have a "CHIP" in it,,,,,,,,,,,so, I tried going to TERMINAL velocity,,,,,,,,, 1st time, 114 mph. 2nd time, got to : 121mph,,,,,,,,,and all of the sudden,,,,,,,,,,,the car just "died",,,,,,,,, /went back to IDLE........ pulled over , turned it off, then I started it back up,,,,,,,,,,,and aha..........I guess the chip, allowed it to get to 121mph, then shut off.
Great car for going to the drive in. Thank You Mr Kilmer 🙏👍🐕🦺
im glad you didnt announce any support for any presidential candidate, i enjoy your content and would hate to see you turn into some political mouth piece for some politician
Trump is a V8 while kamala is a 1.2 liter turbo.
I had a 91 caprice. Engine good, transmission not so good, but I know there was an update about 93 or 94.
To late to make America great again. America has gone to far from the truth. It's everywhere you look and you can't deny it.
Thats the spirit Stephen
Never too late to try.
Not with that attitude
Don't give up just yet, just keep praying.
I'm not giving up anything except for the fact that Jesus is coming soon and I want to go home with him. I wish this for all of you.
No one wants that big of a car these days! On the other hand will like a Chevy Tahoe/ Suburban type🧐
Thank God its not hooded out❤🙌
We want good, long lasting, easy to fix vehicles again! ❤❤✌️
People always thinking of the past look towards the future, obviously not every gas car disappear of the planet
Vote Scotty!
i have got to ask from you Scotty: does toyota rav4 have engine flaws in 2.0 valvematic engine or does the petrol engine have certain problem years?
Voted 2 hours ago. Trump!
Thank you
You could have done something productive with that time.
@@Oldschoolrules123awesome 💪🏻
@@Marty-j9e We all know that you spent 2 hours buying a new set of Kneepads. Too bad that the WORD SALAD will be gone soon.
@@Oldschoolrules123 Aren't you clever.
I had a 95 Cadillac Fleetwood with this same 5.7 LT1. They suffer from electrical problems that will royally piss you off. I've dealt with alot of these caprices and Impalas.

What policies of Harris/Walz do you like?
I’ll wait 😁
@@Timewave-Zer0 I don't understand why a democrat would be watching a channel that promotes gas burning cars.😂😂😂😂😂 And don't worry, they will never respond back.
Someone commented on another car video Scotty's campaign is "Make Honda and Toyota great again!"
Also same application for Buick Roadmaster and Cadillac Brougham 94 to 96 with the 5.7 ltz engine out of a Chevy corvette
There’s one of these but a caprice station wagon for sale down the street for $5,500 with 110k miles it’s a 94 it’s here in CT and no rust. But has wood panels that are faded but it’s alright and has Digital dash
