I agree with everything. A thermal printer is just so much more efficient. I would add a steamer. Even just a cheaper handheld, especially if you're selling anything linen 🤦♀️ I think once your business grows, then maybe a larger one, but I think its definitely a time saver to get wrinkles out. ❤
I have to wrap everything in resealable plastic bags because I live in the deep south and we have "Palmetto Bugs" here - aka big ass flying roaches. They want to live outside in wood, and they don't infest your homes - but do make their way into homes and burrow in things - like containers that are not air proof. It's also always humid as all hell here. Despite running the air it can still have high humidity in the house. I don't ship things in the bags unless it's something that I need to compact down in the box or something high end, but do have to store them in plastic.
I got a cheaper version of a label printer and has worked well for the past 2 years (jaden). Essential for me is a steamer. I say just go ahead and buy the nice jiffy. I steam almost everything and well worth the investment. For me, a mannequin, ring light, poly bags, craft paper and yard sticks are essential for me.
Bin stacking is one of biggest problems. I have the heavy duty plastic shelves, but I am liking your metal shelves. All of my inventory is in a spare bedroom. So these shelves just may be my next investment. Thank you ☺️👍🏼
Thank you so much, Rebekah. I am a full time special Ed teacher (29 years in education ) but started to dive into reselling this January 2024 as a side hustle to help fund my daughter’s wedding this November. Your videos have been inspiring, motivating, and have provided me with a wealth of knowledge on how to approach this reselling market. While this will simply be a side hustle for me, I’ve come to realize that I LOVE everything about it and am going to give it a year or two to see if this will help me plump my retirement fund. I’ve watched this and all your other videos over and over again… and I’ve quickly become one of your biggest fans. So much gratitude for who you are and what you’ve created for us. I’ve subscribed to your channel, I’ve used your links for things you’ve recommended, and I anxiously await what videos you release next. I’m hooked and having the time of my life. Thanks again.
Wow. Thank you for this. I have been contemplating reselling for extra $$, but just didn’t know how to get started. I’ve been on UA-cam checking out resellers and that’s how I found you. I’m a senior, do I’ve been thrifting over 50 years, for just myself and family. I’m at the bins every week and had no idea this was a thing 🤦🏽♀️( senior pass please 😂). But now I’m ready to give it a try. Wish me luck as this old dog starts learning a new trick 😂❤️ Again thank you; this video came at just the right time.
Thank you, love your videos they are always so informative! I agree but would would add a laptop, large steamer, tape measure & a desk to keep everything organized!
I've added handwritten notes before but then I thought about it and realized it just adds extra weight and trash and whenever I got a note from someone I ordered from, I was just like oh that's nice and then threw it away. The only thing I would keep doing is adding a sticker because that's actually something they can use as long as it's cute and general enough for anyone, or it's related to the item they bought.
My thermal printer and usps pick up has made my life so much easier! Especially the pick up with having a toddler i cant just leave in the car to drop off 😂 i just bought pink thermal printer paper on temu and i have enjoyed the poly mailers on temu...saves a lot of money!
Thanks for your Video Rebekah! Love the content you put out! 😊 I sell full time on eBay too…I have found that presentation is everything with many of my customers. They are impressed and give me excellent feedback of their clothing items that I seal in clear plastic bags to store and inventory them in. They get a thank you sticker I put onto that bag and stick them into my poly mailers that are a pretty aqua color. If they are a repeat customer (and I have many-yay!!) they get a repeat customers are the best sticker on theirs instead.
Yesss thernal printer! Im trying the offnova 80$ on amazon and it seems to go rly well. But thank you for that list !! ❤❤ Do you know if there's free shipping supplies for canada ?
What happens if you have two offers on two platforms. Do you know if Vendoo can take one down. Normally these sites don't let you if you have offers pending. Or does it not allow two offers at a time?
Great video, been watching you for a long time was thinking a great video short series would be just one week dollar challenge for you to go out with the knowledge that you know now and show someone who's never done this before how it can be done.... I know many of us in my circle would love to see this
Hi, sorry if this is a stupid question!, but I just started selling on Poshmark. Are we just selling to other poshers who sell on the app or is it other poshers and people who are not on Poshmark? I’m just wondering. Let me know. Thanks 😊
New seller here, thank you for your content! May I ask what seems a silly question? How do you change the setting to print shipping labels with the 4x6 thermal printer? Ive looked everywhere including searching the community pages and watching videos to see where soneone answers this 😭
If you’re talking about eBay, then when you go to print out a sale’s shipping label before you actually hit purchase, there will be a place where you can choose your label size! Once you switch it just one time to 4x6, it will automatically choose that for sales in the future!
Weve seen that direction several times and went through every link prior to purchase label and still havent found it. I wish i knew what we are doing wrong 😢
Located it, finally. It is no longer on the regular print label screen. You have to go to advanced shipping, review the order in the right side panel, and at the bottom it has Print Format with option to change or preview. I knew I wasn't crazy! Lol...hope this helps someone else.
Hey girl. I watch you a lot and agree with almost everything you say I did hear you say that you just moved across the country back to Indiana which I'm getting to do soon as soon as my place sells Tampa to Greenwood just curious I'm sure you probably done a lot of research on movers and who was the best deal any recommendations, and where did you move to in Indy?
Hi Rebekah, I am learning so much about clothing reselling from you; thanks much! Do you use a steamer? Why or why not? I was given one and I’ve never used it (..a little intimidated). Thanks.😊
I wish I could get my usps packages picked up but I've ordered it multiple times and they never come. With the amount of packages I ship though I'm afraid they'll be stolen if I leave a big bag sitting out.
Yes you can, bought a Rollo for my brother as a Christmas present and he loves it. He said it was a simple setup with his Mac, the hardest part for him was to setup the printing size on eBay’s website.
Just a heads up that not EVERYTHING on Poshmark is priority. Anything sold in the electronics category, even if it's a DVD, goes Ground. Learned that the hard way.
I don’t think you’re really supposed to use a padded priority mailer inside of a priority box if that’s what you meant? I hope that makes sense and I interpreted what you’re saying correctly but I think that would be a missuse of supplied packaging.
Please don't go spending $300 on a printer. There are SOOOO MANY just as good printers under $100!!!!! I would also schedule your pickup a few days ahead. When I do it the night before they don't get it in time. I actually schedule M/W/F/Sat months ahead.
I love this community but I hate the Rollo Dynamo push! I literally bought my printer from marketplace for $40 Its an amazon brand and works just the same as yalls Rollo's and Dynamos!!!
I’m ready for a thermal printer 🖨️ just need to save a little for one! Thank you for all the content! Do you ever go live on Poshmark? Or just what not?
I would love if you could do a video about your listing process (how you do your photos/lighting, tags, etc)! Your videos are the best ❤
I agree with everything. A thermal printer is just so much more efficient. I would add a steamer. Even just a cheaper handheld, especially if you're selling anything linen 🤦♀️ I think once your business grows, then maybe a larger one, but I think its definitely a time saver to get wrinkles out. ❤
Agree! Also for delicate fabrics like silk. I rather steam than iron those!
Great video as always!!! I would add: a handheld steamer, tape measure, and a postage scale. These are things I use in addition to those you named.
Those are the first items I got. 100% agree.

I would love to hear how you organize your bins at home!!!! I have no idea how to go about that (I'm new)

A scale to weigh the packages and measure tape.
You can use the flat rate envelope to ship jeans, it’s the cheapest option.
Your new hair do looks great!

This is a helpful video, Thank you😊
Do you have a video of how you got started?

My name is Karla, by the way… not Russ :-)
Thank you so much for all these great tools. I enjoy every video of yours; I cannot thank you enough.

Make sure you follow ‘the right’ resellers; some are not great for advice & guidance.
Wondering if you might ever be able to do a video on restarting your eBay business and maybe some tips.
Thank you! I’m learning so muck from your videos!
Very helpful. I paused and ordered my free shipping supplies as I have been meaning to do so
I love Vendoo!!! I can work riding in the car with my husband. 😂
Just signed up for PosherVA! Excited to get started! I love your videos!

What size bins do you use?
I am struggling with lighting for live shows..any suggestions. I'm in a basement
Great video. Ty. Love your hair!!!!!!!!!!❤
Great video
Yesss thernal printer! Im trying the offnova 80$ on amazon and it seems to go rly well. But thank you for that list !! ❤❤
Do you know if there's free shipping supplies for canada ?
A cheaper version of the Rollo is the LabelRange LP320.
I got a no name label printer from amazon and it was only about $100 and it works great
Hi just love your videos ❤

Oooooooh!!! I love that idea!!!!
Thank you for doing this video!! Trying to get this going part time and I feel so unorganized so far
I used your posherVA code and has changed my business ! Like the others, I am interested to know which steamer you use.
Do you use tissue paper instead of plastic bag for your expensive dresses? I know you sell lots of those!
Hi, sorry if this is a stupid question!, but I just started selling on Poshmark. Are we just selling to other poshers who sell on the app or is it other poshers and people who are not on Poshmark? I’m just wondering. Let me know. Thanks 😊
Anyone who has a user account on Poshmark can buy from you. 🙂

Does the Rolo printer print Ebay labels?
Yes! They will do any 4x6 labels!

USE the steamer , if its something NEW or you dont WANT/CANT put in washer steaming TAKES OUT SMELLS ,as well as wrinkles..
I wish I could get my usps packages picked up but I've ordered it multiple times and they never come. With the amount of packages I ship though I'm afraid they'll be stolen if I leave a big bag sitting out.
I soo wish Canada Post would give us free shipping supplies

Yes you can, bought a Rollo for my brother as a Christmas present and he loves it. He said it was a simple setup with his Mac, the hardest part for him was to setup the printing size on eBay’s website.
Been buying off eBay for 25 years. Never kept a business card!

Do you agree Flat Rate is the best to use?
Porch pickups are terrible if you have porch pirates everywhere
I’m ready for a thermal printer 🖨️ just need to save a little for one! Thank you for all the content! Do you ever go live on Poshmark? Or just what not?
