Can't believe you didn't clean the cab and frame😲! Taking the bed off seems easier to me also. I like when you show the work being done like in your older videos. ✌🏻
I like the whole process being filmed personally, longer the better in form for me. I know the process of editing can be streamlined doing it the way you do it by not filming everything. Can be a lot of work in the edit chair. so do what is best for you I'll be here regardless bc I like your channel. cheers.
@@TWAMotorsports your son's daily mower truck looks sharp as a pencil with the wheel tires comb and with the bags dropped from the stances in the photo at the end of your video.. rock on Travis..😎
Hey Travis a quick maybe dumb question I just bought a 06 crew cab that’s on a 4/6 drop maybe more on 20s but I’m bottoming out everywhere would getting bigger wheels or tires help?
I did the tilt bed method on my Silverado. Took all the bolts out of the drivers side and took the bolts on the passenger side halfway. Then used multiple pieces of wood to prop up the driver side of the bed. Then got under there and changed the pump. Being 6 feet tall I wish I would have propped up the side of the bed a little higher though lol.
@@TWAMotorsports yeah, if I had an engine hoist like you I might have lifted the whole bed but I don’t have an engine hoist and I did in my driveway lol. But even though I took my time it only took me a few hours.
for the rattling heat shield why not put a few screws in it to fix it in place? self tapers? I mean I know that isn't OEM and all but rattling sucks...anyways still digging this truck! Keep up the good work.
I replaced mine and am Havin trouble when i have 1/4 of a tank i fill up and it fills up with 40bucks and it reads full when its only 8 gallons any tips on what it can be

You may see more moving forward
I like when you video the entire process. I would have liked to have seen the heat shields removed. Great content. Please keep it up!
Thank you for commenting and letting me know
I like seeing the work and info on sizes of bolts etc. 👍🇨🇦
Ok. Thank you for the feedback
I like seeing you getting the work done.. especially since these trucks are so popular
Thank you. May film more
I enjoy your videos. You make things look so easy. I really like lowered trucks & SUVs. Thanks for sharing your projects.
Thank you
Did my 03 Tahoe Sunday. Had to drop tank and it wasn't horrible!! Great video brother!!
Thank you. Yeah kinda the only way on those.
Nice job Travis.. that fuel tank looked pretty full when you removed the old fuel sender unit..
Thank you Keith. I thought so too. Took $60 to fill though

Thank you. Definitely better
Sweet! I never knew what a fuel pump looked like 😂
Its the easiest way I think
Getting ready to do the same on my 03 Silverado. It was good to see the process. Keep up the good work. Love the content
Thank you. Good luck on yours
Such a clean truck. Good video! Thanks
Thank you

No. It's probably the driveshaft hitting the cab
@@TWAMotorsports it has a two piece drive shaft and it more about the frame scraping on high ground but appreciate it
👍

I have done that in the past too

That was my method before a hoist too
@@TWAMotorsports I currently live in an apartment with no garage but eventually when I hopefully get a house with a garage I will have a better setup.
Understand that
I really hope that eventually you will do an in depth v6 to v8 swap. It would be insanely helpful.
Not in the cards right now but who knows
Is this truck going to get a sound system setup with subwoofers?
Not sure yet
Hay Travis any good websites to order a PCV hose for my obs? Amazon doesnt help me
Rockauto
@@TWAMotorsports anything else besides rockauto? I still can't find my parts there

Did you replace with gm or parts store cheapy
I had to do the same thing on my '89 Chevy 4x4.
Easiest way in my opinion
What brand was the fuel pump??
Gm. Link in video description
Do you plan to add a cold air intake?
Probably not for a V6
I would not mind having a v6 i know the older 4.3's were basicly a 350 minus 2 cylinders
True
Yes I am shocked that you didn't clean it all up.
I know. I'm losing my touch
I actually can’t believe you ain’t clean it 😂
Lol. I know. Had to knock it out quickly
I made a access panel in the bed . I did what I did to me that was my best option . 😂 nice job
Not my method but I get it
