Amazing. Thank you for spending the time on providing a description before each shell and providing a time mark for each grouping. It's a small thing but it takes time. You're now favorite pyro channel. You have a new fan!
Yes! Depending on the shape and manufacturer, they can be extremely powerful 😊 Check out my video ua-cam.com/video/1ZfHaPzYpQ8/v-deo.html There is a 4" salute weighing in on 400g.
Dear Creat1ve Genius, Because it is obvious you don't have a license for the products you have in your possession, I feel it is my responsibility to educate you, and hopefully, keep you from injuring yourself or someone else (because you will light these shells no matter what I or someone else says). Many of these products comes without a slow burning fuse a.k.a "visco fuse" and are instead delivered only with something called quick fuse/black match. This fuse burns EXTREMELY fast and will make the shell go up in the air/out of the tube in a fraction of a second. DO NOT LIGHT ON THE QUICK FUSE!! Please be careful. The tubes to use are either made from cardboard, HDPE or fiberglass. Because you choose the word "coconut shell", my guess is that you are from the US. Pyroboom is a good american supplier for tubes. Be safe now.
Thank you for your comment. That is interesting information. I somewhat understand. However, for everyone in the pyro community's sake, I'd rather them do something safe and keep their limbs/lives, then not. And let's be honest, it's not very hard too Google it 😁
Awww was looking fwd to a big break from the 10" but when i saw the words horse tail i felt the pain and disappointment stopped watching after the 7" shell The ones i liked most and enjoyed were the 5" i love these effects and colors your 5" had
Well, with the 10" shell I was really disappointed.. I mean, this kind of effect would be okay to test it, but only if you had more 10" shells to test with better effects. For me it would be still a wasted shell, but at least you would have better shells after the shitty one, but now you had only one 10" shell and it was a shitty shell for me..😌 But the video and the fact that you show every shell before you shoot them, is really awesome! I like this one! 😃
Hehe I completely understand what you are saying, the horsetail effect isn't the most exciting one. I'm happy you like the video overall and the concept. For bigger and better shells, check out my latest video (especially the end). 😊
Do you need a special permit for those shells? Anyways awesome video you have a new fan from USA. Would love to see these shells one day in my life to fell and hear them!
Thanks for the kind words Jonathan, appreciate it! Happy you liked it :) Check out the newer videos for better quality. And, yes you need a special permit for these products.
In general, I only use fiberglass. Sometimes HDPE, steel or paper, depending on the shell. In this session I used a mix of paper/hdpe/fiberglass for the 3". All the bigger mortars were fiberglass.
Nice video my friend! Ricasa can shoot good shows, but I don't like the shells very well. Certainly not for European production. I prefer Italian shells 😋
Thank you very much! Some of their shells are actually very very nice but I tend to agree with you, in general, I prefer Italian shells! Thanks for stopping by, check out latest videos for a little bit better quality 😁
@@AndyThePyro Not everything is bad ( the 6 "in your video is very good ), but in general I don't think the quality is very good for such a well-regarded company. But I really like to see Ricasa's shows! Yes I saw your recent video in the snow. The caliber is smaller, but the quality of the video is a lot better! 😁Do you shoot these shells to test? Because it's not really in a show context.
I completely agree with you on that note. Some effects are GREAT but overall its a bit disappointing. Yes I only shoot these shells as a test and to show people what to expect when buying certain companies / products 😊
Andy I have a question for you. I'm a licensed pyro here in Denmark, and if I have to test stuff, I have to get permission every single damn time, and more often than not, we get a "no" because why would be bother right? Can you as a licensed pyro shoot every day year round as you see fit on your private property? When I get permission to test stuff, I have to show a contract proving that I haven an event coming up. it's absolutely ridiculous. I envy you.
Sorry to hear that. Here in Sweden it is a bit complicated. It all depends on where you live, which municipality , what time etc. Depending on these circumstances, we might have to get a permit. For example, if I want to shoot some shells in or close to the center of Stockholm at 8pm on a Monday, chances are pretty high that I will need/should apply for a permit. If I want to shoot on my own property, where I wont disturb a lot of people and I can safely perform these tests, it's usually not a problem. A residential area in a suburb = not popular, not a good choice. A shooting range in a forrest or similar = No problem. It all boils down to where, what, when, how.
@@AndyThePyro Here we have to get a permit every time, no matter where we test. I use a place belonging to a friend about half an hour from me. A great bit field with forest on three sides. Still it is down to the municipality clerk in the office that day. Two years ago I had to test some ideas for a finale for a music festival event, and the lady in the office turned down my application because she personally did not care for fireworks. I had to take it to a state level in order to get her decision overturned. Luckily since, she was asked by her superior not to handle such cases, as it should not be based on personal opinion. But such things, and environmentally conscious "desk generals" are what we have to deal with. It's just idiotic. What is your safety distances to audiences for 5" - 8" shells in Sweden? Here we can only shoot 6 and 8 in Copenhagen from barges on the water. If we shoot in the city from a roof or parking lot, we are limited to 4" and low NEC 5".
