Many years ago I chose this song as the focus in a high school English class assignment which revolved around a song. My teacher was fascinated by the pointed lyrics and was very happy to see what I came up with. Humility and acceptance will allow you to fully embrace this song's message, and I'm so thankful for Geoff and the band for delivering this art when we needed it most. Even if only viewed as a simple reminder of human history, it is more relevant and honest than most music before and after it's release. Full Collapse should be cherished.
They used autotune only after the fact, to polish this up for the DVD. Geoff doesn't use autotune for actual shows, anyone who's seen them live can attest to that.
the only band that has never let me down in any way
This band is and will forever be timeless. The lyrics hit crystal clear today.
love it so much!

one of the best songs ever made
This is my high school years , time flies
Man, me too! I saw them perform all of Full Collapse a few years ago at their show in Los Angeles. We all went wild when they played this song!
another great performance by thursday...although i wish geoff wouldve sang the first line himself. thats my favorite part. amarite?
HIGH SCHOOL!!! freshman year baby.
I can watch this video for daysssss
I looked it up and he's playing in "C". One of the coolest bass lines I've heard.
3000 of these plays goes to me!!
this is my all time # 1 song in this world.. keep up the good job and continuing these good songs and lyrics... i love thursday
wish there was an acoustic version of this song
It would be cool. But that bass line has to be electric
it kind of bums me out that Tim's bass tone is almost completely mixed out of this it sounds like. his bassline is the highlight of this song.
I can hear it on my speakers. :)
Legendary performance

💯💪 best band ever them lyrics though.
Hmmm.... I forget where, but a site showed me how to play it in "C". Guess it depends on how you play it :) But if it's drop "D", I'll go with it.

Full Collapse is still the shit.

Fucking awesome.
Anyone know the bass tuning he uses for this song?
Standard or drop "D" I'm gonna go with drop D.
hell yea, that's wassup
lol, it's the first line of the song.
did he ever actually sing the line "write these words back down" live, by himself?
can't find a single video that captures it
kinda cheap
WRITE THESE WORDS BACK DOWN!!!!!!!
that whole record is in drop D tuning...
nah some of it is in D standard otherwise you can't play some arpeggios correctly
write these words back down
Shake it lmfao
