Other Key Highlights: 1. If the opponent rides back down to G2, while you ride up again into Genovious, they can't use Heal guardians anymore so your turn is much more impactful. The only saving grace is damage checked triggers, OT, and any Rollocks. Remember Genovious can SB1 to superior call a useful unit from top 5 of deck too. 2. Another benefit of Nerissa at 4 copies was to see it more often on the G2 turn when you open with Prodpollen as well. 3. Since Genbold with Prodpollen creates 4 RGs, my typical hand size would vary 12-17 cards in hand.
@@kagze87 I forgot to mention that I also tried a 3-1 ratio. One of the G Nikki. I went back to 4 V Nikki because it's a card that could rest itself and being 8k to hit VG if going second. Thanks for watching and liking the card! I was really impressed on how it overall helps Thavas and its support.
Good question, it's definitely worth trying out at least. What's really nice about Prodpollen is that it works on Valeos turns. Plus it stays on board for more RG count. I think some testing work reveal what helps most.
You're welcome! Thanks for watching and kind words! Yeah when I learned that, I was like, "that's smart!". But with this metagame, Genovious was definitely the right call. I remember seeing some Aqua Force lists and by looking at it, you don't get the full picture of all the roles that a card provides. Personally I love in-depth deck profiles since there's so much insight that's valuable.
I don't think it's worth it, because those attacks may not be as effective in case your opponent has the G3 heal to give their VG +10k. Plus keep in mind you have to Rest 3 RGs in order to perform the Pseudo Stride, which means you'll have Back row units that won't be able to attack anyway.
Hello! I was wondering what do you do if you are unable to do not have enough pieces to rest 3 rears for Lambros (if your opponent is at g2) You stay on g2? You just ride up? What happens if you do not have Genovious but Thavas only?
Hi there and great questions! 1. If we can't rest 3, it's a really bad situation. So depending on the matchup, I consider staying at G2 (if going first). It can give you a turn to get a piece that you really need, otherwise they'll ride up. If they ride up, then you just need to survive to get to your 1st stride turn. Do keep in mind, if you're facing a tough matchup, it's going to be an uphill battle. 2. If you're ride up to your 2nd G3 turn, while they are at G2 still, then you can either use Genovious or Thavas to still win. Nikki can help recycle a G4 so you can pseudo stride with Thavas once more. You can even decide to ride down again if that's the play. Hope it helps!
Hello commander.. So I have a question With the skill of blue steel stride for every 2 rested I draw a card and retire a rear guard so that means if I draw 3 I can also retire 3 or 1?
They say that the events moving forward will have errata stations. So the next time you go to the event, take your misprint card and they will replace it for free.
@@CommanderJaime the problem is that I don't have official events in my country. So I can't trade them, I need someone willing to sell to me or a shop that sells the errated versions.

I thought of you too lol. I show off more reasons why for the spice you questioned at the event lol
@@CommanderJaime 1 Genovius got me messed up LOL. That’s smart.
@@tysenseisama thanks! My friend, David Song, recommended it to me! The ride up, ride down game is real in this metagame lol
No problem good Jaime, always happy to help! we will get them next year!
Thanks again for the practice! Absolutely next time!
The token spice is just great especially with Cycloneds.
Yep! It's really cool on the Valeos turns too to get additional attacks without decking out lol

Ah yes some gud stuff :3
Thanks for watching!
That spice g2 card is so good, maybe you can thinking about the old g1 nikki?

Awsome. I never thought of Plants for Aqua, def gonna try that fot my Thavas :3
I know right! At first it was weird but playing it out, it does a lot for the deck!
Love it when everyones aqua force deck has prodpollen in it 😄 glad to be the trend setter
Great to see you in the comments ha! Keep up the great work champ!
Hi Jaime. What do you think of the horuhoru mushroom compared to prodpollen? Do you think it completely replaces prodpollen?

@@CommanderJaime Thanks for the reply. Looking forward to another video about it! Ahaha
Great list and explanation. I always wondered why players were running Tetradrive as their 5th copy of a G3 and you explained that masterfully 👏

ooo some nice spice before toronto springfest :D
You're welcome ha!
Is there any value in playing 1 g3 magnolia for your elder turn and absolutely rushing your opponent with back row swings?

You would also retire 3. It's really good.
Would you have a recommendation if you don't have earth element?
Rollocks purpose was to survive early aggression and stay at low damage. So you could add either more combo piece cards or higher Shield value cards.
@Commander Jaime yeah unfortunately I didn't pull any of him that's why
