      Yeah l go pretty wild on that editing button to get 5 months worth of video into just a couple of hours, its amazing how much l just repeat myself, anyway next season is just 3 months away so l am already thinking of how l could mix it up a bit, cheers NM.

    What a great bunch of videos im glad i didnt miss any of them kind of bummed its over so fast but what beautiful specimens id be damned secretive too if i was in your shoes! Thankyou for the effort of taking me along til next video atb Russ.

    thats a lot of rain mate...nice chunky Gold....now that's an egg....beautiful specimen....love the iron stone on Gold....surprised you haven't found the reef yet....too bad you can trench the area to find it...from what I have seen you are right on top of it...but which direction?

      The rain is rare out there, but greatly needed, will return to the goldfields next May to look for it again but right now l am going fishing and probably wont get internet down there for the next week or so, we will see, l need some surf and fish so until then, cheers NM.

    Hello from From Northern Florida.I love your video's.What a blessing to be able to go out and find good gold.I would do it every chance I had too
    I used to go out and hunt arrowheads after they cropped,raked and plowed....loved it

      Panning creeks is still exciting but the detector has made me lazy, if l had the skills at finding placer gold l would dig up the whole river, anyway however we find it its fun, cheers NM.

      Yes secrecy, for a couple of local miners its easier to watch my video,s and then go in with machinery than to find their own l have come to learn and with this area holding promise l thought l might keep it close to my chest, if l could stake my own claim there first my ground work would not be wasted, believe me it goes on all the time, thats how l lost my 2013 reef, l trust people will understand, cheers NM.

    HI N/M what do you use to clean up with water and detergent ? or something stronger.? cheers

      I was just told the old timers found slightly salty or brackish water works best when panning but for specimens like that l use Alibrite which is a no no, apparently it affects the quartz, cheers NM.

    I have said it before and I will say it again. You are my hero. I would love to buy you a beer and pick your brain. I'm coming to the end of a 6 year plan to take up prospecting, the research and area has been chosen, the gear is sorted and so are the funds and as soon as I am made redundant from this project I'll have the time. All I have to do now is build the vehicle and I am off into the bush. Your videos are informative and inspirational thank you.

      l use the 17 x 11nuggetfinder and have the 20inch round coil for deep ground, also nuggetfinder, they seem to grab most targets, cheers NM.

      Gidday JD, been out of range as usual, found an out of the way place for some excellent fishing, will catch up better over next 2 days but to answer your question about 150 days but normally only half days, l am learning to kick back a bit, cheers NM.

    What would happen if you hit it with a hammer will it Bend and go flat or will it just break apart? Let me know Victor from Palmdale California 93591

      l reckon the quartz would shatter and the gold matrix would flatten trapping quartz, you could leave it in acid till it was basically gold matrix, that would look pretty awesome and something l should try on the next, cheers Victor, stay well up there mate.

      Yes by using hydrofluric acid, theres every chance though that it could fall apart if it wasnt all connected internally, cheers NM.

      Yeah the extreme close ups of the gold makes them look worse than they are, back when l was floor tiling they bled every day from birdseyes if you are unfortunate enough to know what they are so this is a treat, however l did take some hand cream this yr, bit soft but hey, cheers mate, NM.

      You need a "miners right" thru WA Gov and then check out "UDO and BILL" Their website is full of info and helpful facts, download Tengraph to see all available detecting grounds, hope that gets you started, cheers NM.

    You should tape a small slice of potato over that wart on the tip of ur middle finger and change it every 5 days it will go away in a couple weeks. Don't change the potato until about 5 days the bacteria that are breaking down the potato is what actually kills the wart, change out the potato every five days should go away quick.
