#askmark DSMB & spool. Attached together before entering the water or kept separate and attached before deployment? Thoughts pls :-)

#AskMark I saw your last askmark video on first equipment to buy but I'm curious where wetsuits fall into that? I have a neoprene allergy and I'm curious if neoprene free suits are common to rent or if its worth buying one that's right for me? Thanks for all the information videos and help!

G’day Mark, you talk about the elbow and straight inflator connection and you said that the straight “allows for greater airflow” really!? It’s not a dragcar or super bike. The speed of the air going into the BCD is controlled by the valve it goes through which is exceptionally smaller, their for straight or elbow dose not make a bit of difference. Anyway have a good one. I do enjoy your channel 👍

#askmark I would like to ask that Suunto Eon core works for sidemount diving or not. Especially with 2 tank pods.
I’m friends telling me that only shearwater has this feature.
    Kindly inform.

6:51 is air turbulence a major problem when inflating BCs?

#askmark Hi Mark I am wanting to use dry gloves but I have a neoprene drysuit and it seems that dry gloves are only made for latex or silicon seals. Do you know if it is possible to but dry gloves on neoprene and if it is will it damage the neoprene? Thank you for the help

#askmark with no STA do you just use the cam band/s to attach the backplate to the wing or do you also use bolts / book screws? #askmark

Mark, it appears that most, if not all, proper brass SPGs are made by Termo Industria in Italy, with brands adding little design cues to distinguish their own (e.g., Apeks or Hollis). I have seen similar commonalities in masks, fins, and so on. Is this practice common in the dive industry? Cheers. #askmark

Hi Mark, what type of weight pockets do you use with your travel setup? Do you have any experience with the mares xr side weight pockets? I don't know what to think about the velcro closing mechanism, looks odd. Does mares produce trim options that you connect to the backplate? (I could not find any) Both OMS and scubapro have these options - have you tried any of those? Thanks! #askmark

I’ve got another #AskMark question… Mark, when you where teaching, we’re there any courses you loved to teach ( Rescue is a personal fave as a DM )
Also, is there anyone who you wouldn’t dive with? Out of safety reasons, without naming any names

Don´t forget that you can use a Rechargeable14500 Li-Ion or Lithium (3.6V, 3.7V) witch is a good compromise!

I use the Shearwater Perdix AI without Transmitter due to the fact that I prefer a normal SPG. Even though you can only use two transmitters… so if you’re going with minimum two stages you still have to use at least one SPG.
As Backup computer I use my old Garmin Descent MK1.
Got to say that the dive log from Garmin is much more nicer than the Shearwater one…
Also GPS is a nice feature.
