It’s all over February 21. The monastic darkwave shadow figure LUNACY rises from the rural Pennsylvanian wasteland to declare, “This is the End.”
The first single from LUNACY’s upcoming EP, UNIVERSAL PRESSURE, spews synthetic [sic] bile from the speakers with all the subtlety of a fiery stream of pressurized fracking waste.
Slick on the oily heels of the full-length ECHO IN THE MEMORY, “This is the End” injects LUNACY’s grisly and downtrodden hybrid of darkwave, industrial and post-punk with vivid new dimensions of static energy. Crushing synth drones obliterate the bitstream before being hijacked by fragments of forgotten melody flickering in and out like isolated pirate radio broadcasts dubbed to a third-generation cassette tape.
