“Held In A Curse” follows Plattenbau into a fortress of high-voltage ghost-punk. Harcore beats emerge from the pagan sludge, pulling us in and out of a medieval moshpit, while triumphant dungeon synths wield the sword of truth. The cross-repeating chorus lines bounce back and forth on each other like the mantra of a spiraling mind. The track ends in a wave of head-banging noise guitar, dragging us deeper into Plattenbau’s paranoid cyber-verse.
