@@andremalerba5281 xenoverse had the 3D gameplay but the combos were so much more different than Budokai Tenkaichi. And xenoverse didn't have beam clashes or homing dash sequence.

It will rely on DLC. Unfortunately they count every form as it's own character. So Goku and Vegeta is like 10% by themselves before Gohan, Trunks, or any other characters who transform

This type of animation and theatrical presentation should have been standard for all video games years ago. Despite it playing exactly how it's portrayed on television, it shouldn't be exclusive to the franchise. The way it engages the player is second to none.
You expect every dev to have this kind of resources? Not even the dev of this game did until they were given budget and staff increase
Play Ultimate Ninja Storm, thje last two games are really like playing the anime, so much they re enacted the whole final and boruto movie
You forget these devs compete with each other. Dragon ball had humble beginnings decades back. People can pick up and put down a game that doesn't pan out. Or you can keep providing that work to your people until your product becomes premium

The physiques and sheer muscle mass displayed by SSJII Trunks, Master Roshi, and Broly in this game are mind-blowing.
Graphics and physiques are very well done.
It looks like an awesome game.
Trunks isn’t SSJ2 he’s still SSJ1 just bulked up. He never reached SSJ2 during that time

Out of 164, we already have 12 dedicated to Goku and Vegeta, 4(maybe 5) to future trunks and so on.
Safe to assume 13-16 between Cell, Frieza and Buu.
Keep up with this logic and you see there aren’t as many spots as you’d think. Even Xenoverse didn’t do “1 spot per ssj form”
apparently only Z and Super at launch, but as it's Bandai, we already know that GT and Dragon Ball Classic will arrive as DLC's
