A lot of these old games should of been remastered. No extra work needed. Instant money. Just update the graphics and push em out. Idk why they don't do this with all the classics. Def jam, Budokai series, fusion frenzy, kung fu chaos, etc...

If you use majuubs ultimate immediately after kicking the enemy upwards with a charged kick then the blast will go directly at them rather then going in the air and falling back down
His Ssj form’s grab is the best In the game.. it chains with the “triangle while holding up” throw, its look absolutely great when you connect a SBC after that.
Glad to see Videl here. If you play the DP mode where you’re limited by a points budget she’s S tier because she only costed like 2 or 3 despite being really good
Arale is hands down the strongest girl character in the game. Also: she has a B1 that heals her AND gives her a power up AT THE SAME TIME. 1st form Cell is also one of the best characters in the game period. He can constantly heal himself with his moves, and if that wasn't enough: he can heal himself with his transformations as a last ditch effort. If you guard-break an opponent with no ki, you can INSTAKILL THEM by stunlocking them with your grab attack so they can NEVER recover their ki (Babidi can also do this).
I always loved dr gero, he can absorb energy attacks which recharge his ki, and he can drain the opponent's health to recover his own. For casual play, it's super annoying lol

Despite all the DBZ games that have come out over the years, BT1 has the most badass and authentic Intro of all of DBZ games of the Franchise. BT2 and BT3 in my opinion still remains the most Unique and the best DBZ games in terms of content, quality and fanservices. And from the gameplay perspective aspects, these DBZ games that I mentioned are very close to the anime itself because of the Vibe and Charm, I don't know how to describe it but it was, and still is the most Unique DBZ experience you could have with the combat factor. (- Sheer amount de of characters - Transformations mid-battle (powering up and down) - Fusions mid-battle - Fast gameplay that has that "woah" feel - Tons of extra content - Story mode covering all sagas + movies - What If sagas - Shenron having permanent impact on game (character unlocks and whatnot) - Great tournaments that rotate availability - Edit characters with items (buffs) - 5v5 battles - Really Great and Epic Soundtracks - Destroyable environments - Entire stages could be blown up into their "destroyed" alternatives - Mission 100 being a great challenge - Artwork is 10/10 - Sound effects are great - Combat feels heavy and satisfying) Only Budokai 3, Infinite World and the Raging Blast 1 and 2 and all of PSP DBZ games except of Dragon Ball Z Evolution are still considered also very solid DBZ games, also the hidden gem that a lot of DBZ fans missed from PS2 Era of DBZ games is "Super Dragon Ball Z" which is also a real Unique and DBZ game, especially for the different gameplay aspects perspective.
This is great! We've had this game for so long now that the actual gameplay of the characters I am more highly interested than just watching the character's animations. Always great to learn more and new stuff from some of our favorite games!
Does anyone play DP mode? If so could you make a video focusing on that meta? I always use devil man on my team because he seemed like the best character worth 2 DP to me but after watching this I will definitely try swapping him with videl or yajirobe.
Metal Cooler and Super Android 13 are my favorite characters to use, they are part of my 5v5 team of Super No17, Cell 1st form, Babidi, Android 13 and Metal Cooler. A team built half on gimmicks and half on powerhouses, something I love to do is to go berserk with Metal Cooler, and when getting low on heal bait the opponent, grab them and Regenerate while they are falling.
3:35 true, siriously even represented so hard that that may be 1 of the reason besides her not being that good with ki control, that her ki blast range is so low it's completely useless & her charged ki blast is so slow & low ranged it's practicly useless too, but if she deffinetly does quite well in close range
I used most of these characters frequently minus yajirobe. When you play other game modes in the game you just realize other characters fit better for other situations. I used to make my cousin so mad beating him with “weak” characters with his ssj4 gogeta
Me and my friends pretty much used all of these characters except for the Dragon ball ones. We had our mains but used pretty much every character possible
My Top 10 would be Ultimate Gohan, Future Gohan, Gohan(Buu Saga), Goku GT, Nail, Vegito, Trunks(Battle Armor), Baby Vegeta, Raditz, and Janemba(Transformed). I sometimes use Super Buu and Kid Buu and mess around with them 2.
Still haven't watched this video but lemme tell you, Nuova Shenron is absolutely busted Edit: shame he did not make the top 10. I've used him for years and he was always my best pick. His base abilities are really good, ultimate not so much, but I barely used it anyways.
Finally some respect for my girl Videl! She's an absolute menace as long as you're aggressive. Has a pursuit rush attack with great range, ki charge is quick and you don't need much of it, so it counterbalances the negative sides of Afterimage Strike. Lacks a blast attack and waves (makes sense, lore wise) but there's no real need for them. Also costs like 2 in BP battles? Which makes her a top tier best investment at that value.
Yajarobi was a must on my 5 man team back in the day .i saw every1 using super sayian and got bored of it My 17 (my fave in the game),kid goku , scouter vegeta,yajarobi & simi prefect cell
I discovered how broken yajirobe is by picking random chars to fight. Its power bars fill fast, for most part you got to keep distance and punish anyone approaching with a slash attack One can easily take out 3 chars off opponent's team with it
Swear I use to make people mad with yajarobi 😂. My pure hands team/combo team would consist of base bardock, yajarobi, future gohan, goku mid, and ubb or id swap up out with kid goku or any variation of vegeta.
pretty good video. Feeling like playing Tenkaichi 3 again. The latest one feels disappointing because they probably will push some characters that were in the previous major Tenkaichi Game into DLC or not at all. Also I don't like the visuals of the game. Nam would def be worthy of this list, despite low health and not being able to fly, he has an afterimage ability that only costs 1 skill point (one of the most OP things about him) as well as a really solid unblockable charge attack--and to top it all off, the replacement for his ki blast is a heavy strike which stuns opponents, which is super hard to predict since you don't have to start a combo to lead into it Similar to Videl I don't think he's top tier, but definitely way better than he gets credit for
I’m glad I still own this game and my PS2 as well. But I want to recommend Broly in his Base form as well his moves are not that good either. Along with Nappa, Nappa moves too slow when it comes to his normal punches and kicks same could be said about Raditz so it’s easy to dodge them and plan your next move.
Uub: Always killed it with him Dabura: didn’t use much but wasn’t bad Videl: underrated. Her hand to hand is great Arale: Overpowered just like the anime filler Bardock: Savage as fuck. Loved him. Yajirobe: completely underrated. His strikes are crazy fast Pikkon: has cool special attacks but overall didn’t use him much Imperfect Cell: very versatile. Very dangerous Super 13: an absolute tank and I loved him. The SS Deadly Bomber is probably OP Super Vegeta: absolute powerhouse The only honorable mention I exceeded with was Meta Cooler. His skill set is vastly underrated

Was going to make a joke about how anyone who isn’t Goku or Vegeta is automatically an underrated character because of how current dragon ball is. But when I saw the og dragon ball version of Goku in the first few seconds of the video I changed my mind. Realistically any character that was in og dragon ball but doesn’t appear with an important role in Z or onward I automatically put on the list of characters who are underrated.

While Bardock is often considered C-tier by the competitive community, he's a character I really enjoy playing and will often use in online matches.

One thing i found out about videl while fighting her is that she's really fast, her attacks dont cost much so she can spam.
Putting Nam on here is crazy. He's super fast, has great combos for chaining together, and you can stack up Afterimage very quickly to avoid attacks.
Burter, Mecha Frieza and scouter Vegeta were always my go to.
6:10 Bardock and Kaio Ken Goku Early were my high speed rush characters! Would just destroy my brother’s teams with these guys.

you missed a gem with yajirobe. he's like one of the only characters to use his weapon in combat AND he has full heals. Hes actually hilarious
