Respectable mam, you are making a serious mistake at 6:15 to 7:30 period of this recording. Please consider it. You are referring the fertilization event of gametes as the independent assortment of chromosomes, while the independent assortment initiates at the metaphase of meiotic division and ends at the formation of gametes with different sets of chromosomes.
