I’m getting this tattooed on me somewhere “I’m over 50 now, I can do what I want!” Go girl! Too right! I got some inktense blocks and pencils but have barely used them yet lol. So many art supplies, so little time. lol
Julianne, I LOVE this! 😂🎉 Honestly, “I’m over 50, I can do what I want!” would make the perfect tattoo-bold, empowering, and a little cheeky! 😘 And oh, the classic ‘too many art supplies, so little time’ struggle-we’re all in that club! 🖌️✨ Those Inktense Blocks and pencils are waiting for you; they’re such fun when you finally dive in. Thanks so much for watching and sharing this-it made my day! ❤️🤗
@@sarahclementsart Wouldn't it just! It's perfect! I'll get it on my lower arm so when I move it (and i do often - adhd struggles lol) then everyone can see it 😆😆🤣. Oh yes we really are I already had a lot but this past year, well it's got just a tad bigger ;0) hehe. I'm going to have a play I must! lol. Yay, I'm glad happy to make you smile!
Hi Kate! 😊 That makes me so happy to hear-there’s nothing better than feeling inspired to create! I hope you have so much fun playing with your Inktense again. Thank you for watching and for your lovely comment-happy creating! 🎨✨
Great video reviewing the inktense products, it’s inspired me to get mine out! Not that I’m obsessed but I have the pans, blocks and pencils 😂🫣 when I rediscovered my love for creating art a few years ago and I was starting to look into supplies I wanted watercolour pencils but couldn’t find any that I liked but fell in love with these pencils for their versatility. Then I think I got some blocks in a scrawlrbox which I also loved then when the paint pans were released I thought it’d be rude not to complete the range 😂😂
Hi Evette! 😊 Oh my goodness, I absolutely LOVE your enthusiasm-it’s so inspiring! 😂 You’ve got the whole Inktense family, and honestly, I can’t blame you-they’re just so versatile and fun to use! It’s amazing how they helped rekindle your love for creating art. I’m thrilled the video inspired you to dive back in with them-happy creating and enjoy every colourful moment! 🎨✨
Great fun watching you have a play….i have the 24 set of pencils and a pan set…I love the idea of making up and wash and putting it in the brush…Thank you..
Hi Pamela! 😊 I’m so glad you enjoyed watching-it was such fun to share! The 24 pencils and the pan set sound like a fantastic combo, and I’m thrilled you love the idea of making a wash in a brush. It’s such a handy trick! Thank you so much for your kind comment-happy creating! 🎨✨
I have the big set of Inktense pencils and a small set of the blocks. I’ve never got on with any of them but now I’m inspired to have another go! Thanks Sarah! x
Jessica, I’m so glad you’re feeling inspired! 🥰 Sometimes it’s just about giving those art supplies another chance, isn’t it? ✨ The Inktense pencils and blocks can be a bit of a learning curve, but once they click, oh boy, they’re magic! 🖌️💖 Let me know how your next go with them turns out-cheering you on all the way! Thanks so much for watching and sharing your thoughts! 😘 x
Hi Wilma! 😊 Aren't Inktense blocks just amazing? I'm so glad you're enjoying your set of 12-they really do pack a punch with their versatility! White can be tricky, but it sounds like you've got a great system figured out. Happy creating, and thank you so much for sharing your love for these vibrant little wonders! 🎨✨
I had only the 12 set Inktense blocks but I also have the bigger box of Inktense Pencils, the Albrect Durer set of 24 I think pencils and the Faber Castell 48 box of pencils. I tried out all of these together - thinking that either the Albrect Durer or the big box of Inktense pencils were going to be the best. But to my surprise, the winners were, without a doubt, the box of 12 Inktense blocks. They released their colour much more easily than the pencils did, and felt creamier, and were much easier to put on top of a previously dry layer. Some of the pencils just would not release any colour over a dry layer. So of course I immediately went out and bought the big 72 tin of Inktense Blocks - and I'm so glad I did. They are lovely. P.S. the greater is a 'great' idea - I'm now looking for a cheese grater, Sainsbury's seem to have some. Lol
Hi Sylvia! 🎉 Thank you so much for watching and for your lovely comment! I know, right? The jar grater was such a handy tool-lucky you for snagging one (some) early on! So glad you enjoyed the video, and thank you for sharing your thoughts. Happy sketching (or grating 😄)!
I have the two small pan sets. I prefer a not so permanent a medium when it dries, I like to soften and blend which is why I am excited to try gouache. However, I have used the inktense pans to add detail over a watercolour
Graham, that sounds like a fantastic approach! 🎨✨ I totally get wanting a medium you can soften and blend-that’s the magic of gouache, right? 💕 But using the Inktense pans to add detail over watercolour? Genius! 🖌️ They really do shine for those bold, permanent touches. Thanks so much for sharing your process and for watching-it’s always a joy to hear how others are using their supplies! 😊🙌

Love my inktense blocks. Only the 12 set, so use another option if i need white. They are so versatile.😊

Look in kitchen tools. I have a tiny grater that comes with a container and lid. Cheaper too lol.
Love it.Brilliant idea! 😁🎉
