The signals and the quality of the track made me think this was Network Rail. But the generous trackwork gave it away as a Private Railway. I wonder what might have been without nationalisation. We may have been more like the Swiss Private lines?
This is unusual for the UK in that it is not mostly run by volunteers, but by paid staff. It is good that the railway survives and it is able to balance the books doing that!
only seen kingswear etc from Braveheart on christmas run this year , great see more of it . i just added a video of Bravehearts launch day march 22nd ..... doesnt have editing skills this one but will do shorter version when grasped idea bit more
I tried the view first at the level crossing but it said no public entry there. I was pleased to discover no such notice on the bridge, and you got a better view anyway there..
Realy loved the bridge shot.A moment in time for ever captured
I wish we had more time there!
Very nice video and steam train! Great camera work! Ciao, Stefano
Thank you Stefano. We will soon be back again to more regular steam trains running locally
we have been on that track, went on the ferry across to dart mouth,
That is quite a pleasant experience too.

Nice to see 75014 'Braveheart' out on the line.
Thanks Steve. I couldn't be sure which loco this was at the time, being surprised and impressed by the different steam chine to the usual MT hooter!
