I just got my hands on the newly released Vib-Ribbon vinyl by Minimum Records, which contains a never before released song called "Rainbow" on it, here's a rip I made, enjoy! - Ігри
I know I usually upload PaRappa videos, but Vib-Ribbon is another rhythm game by Masaya Matsuura (Created PaRappa with Rodney A Greenblat)

This is probably my favorite unreleased song out of all the games I've ever listened to, it's so special and catchy, I just love it.

What if the level changed to colors? That would've been dope. Maybe that's why Vib Ripple was all colors. Could've been a deeper story???

I hear "and over with you" as "and flow with the air"
also small thing, I hear "a blue sky" as "in blue sky"
You forgot the "I- I- I-"
i hear "and flow within you" instead over with you
i honestly hear "living with you over there" as "let me go with you over there", which makes more sense to me in context w the rest of the lyrics. idk that might be just me tho
I have been listening to it over and over because I really like this song. I think one of the verses is saying "And you'll find the magpie in my dream" when I played it at slower speeds I could be wrong.
It's a crime that this isn't in the actual game.
I always envision this as an unused credits sequence, going like this:
The game plays this track in auto mode and some credit text appears in areas of the screen, each in different colours ( highlighting the song title). After it finishes, it plays the level clear sound and vibri congratulates you: " thank you for playing my game. It might seem like the end for the courses, but we are only getting started! You can explore levels of your own, by just inserting your own music CD. Goodbye!". The screen will be similar to the ending of the vib ribbon demo.
End of Vib ribon demo that's all for now with the full game you can use your favourite CDs and play the game available in the shops now
@@LovelyYT yeah, something like that, but with alterations to it to make it fit better after the music finishes. just as a reminder to the player that there's more to Vib-Ribbon than just its own tracks. Though I have a feeling that it would not be available without its own disc, just to load that amount of data to the PlayStation's memory (2MB), so it's definitely why it was cut

Okay, I geniunely adore this song, it slaps, but somehow, some way, I get really damn emotional when listening to it, and I don't know why. Song still slaps tho

EDIT: Now I remember no's video about discontinuing the modmaking, featuring a 3D render of your avatar (pips), which might have been a double entendre, so I get it now.
I'm 5 months late but that video had nothing to do with pips leaving modding haha, just that I would stop making PTR2 modding videos, I didn't have anything interesting to put as a background so I just used that render that I happened to have at the time.
Thinking about it now, I should probably private that video.

wow. this song is SO good.
People saying this should've been used as a playable track, I don't really get that? There aren't any tempo changes as far as I can tell, and it's very chill the whole way through so I feel like placing at the end of the list wouldn't make much sense unless it was horribly overcharted.
It also doesn't really have a special hook to make up for it like polaroid does with it's camera theming, so I can't really see it going anywhere but the first song slot if it was playable.
It'd fit better as, like some others have said, a credits song or something
This would've made an awesome reference to the original game if it were put in vib ripple

This is a bold guess but I think its because of how much different the vocals sound compared to the rest of the songs. It sounds deeper than the actual published ones, but that might just be me.
i think it could’ve been a course or something like when you finish all the courses or maybe an ending track but maybe they didn’t have space for it.

I’ve seen some people speculating that this song may be about depression, With lyrics about a “Blue Sky” and “Without a rainbow”. Which, This may be true, Considering there isn’t any official lyrics anywhere, And it’s hard to make out. Plus, It’d fit with some of the other Vibribbon songs.
But I have to disagree.
Similar to Polaroid, I don’t think this is about depression, But rather the acceptance afterwards. That things may not have been perfect - Without a rainbow - But it’s still a blue sky, After it rains. Not cloudy or overcast, But a clear day. We shouldn’t chase that perfection, As expecting too much will only result in disappointment. We should see the world *_Above the rainbow._*
