  • Many household chemicals can create harmful gasses when mixed. If you use more than one product, consider rinsing the surface between uses to avoid mixing chemicals.

    The National Pesticide Information Center (NPIC) provides free information via a toll-free number (1-800-858-7378) to anyone in the United States and U.S. territories, including the public, medical, veterinary, and other professionals. NPIC operates from 8:00am to 12:00pm PST, Monday through Friday. Pesticide information is also available at NPIC's website (npic.orst.edu), or via email (npic@ace.orst.edu).
    NPIC is a collaboration between Oregon State University and the United States Environmental Protection Agency. NPIC provides objective, science-based information about a wide variety of pesticide-related topics, including pesticide product information, information on the recognition and management of pesticide poisonings, toxicology, and environmental chemistry.
