RAAM's ground execution is one of my favorite executions in the series. Mainly because of how he easily decapitates the cog with a simple and uncaring motion.
It would've been pretty cool if the third Carmine wore the third helmet variant but the same body armor as Anthony and Ben, we instead have Clayton wearing his own armor which makes him unique and I like that. I just wish they could've make Anthony and Ben unique from the other normal Gears as well
So true. The Swarm are not even a threat or intimidating as shown at the end of Gears 4 where only 2 giant piloted robots and 1 helicopter can take out many Carriers, Swarmarks, a giant unknown Swarm monster and a hive with ease.

First we got nightmares that came out of nowhere, completely capable of creating their own technology, not aliens, but so uncaring for the lives of others, the world goverment was forced to destroy most of what they had to not give the enemy the satisfaction. And we saw their capital, a huge city built by dimwitted creatures fully intent on rebuilding on the surface over the corpses of countless humans, we saw them tame giant beasts and wage war on humanity, pushing them to the brink of extiction, all for a desperate gamble on knowing it was either them or us. Then the swarm popped-up and... zombies... yay. they guy who was supposed to be badass for his mutations that made him stronger than a regular locust got his hand cut-off by a knife, even when he didn't evolve from a low drone. RAAM stopped a freaking *chainsaw* with his bare hand, and then proceeded to kill Mhin like nothing happened. Hive mind, bigger monsters, giant robots, 'stronger' enemy that has their own monsters... wooo :I I'm not trying to be mean, but it doesn't feel much like Gears of War anymore.
You aren't wrong. Compare how creepy they were in gears 1 and 2. And then look at the amazing variety of enemies you got to encounter in the campaign and horde. From the serapedes to the lambent humans/locusts all the way to the regular locust horde and all their variants. For the passed few days I've out down gears 4 completely and just started playing gears 3 again and my god.. it's so sad how much better gears 3 is. Gears 4 had tighter mechanics and graphics but everything else is way better in gears 3. And don't even get me started on that bland and lack luster excuse of a main character j.d. And that horrid storyline and shitty swarm. It took me months to finish the campaign because i either got bored or couldn't stand j.d's monotone banter. Delta squad and original gears trilogy FOREVER

At least bring beast mode back and put raam in it. I loved that mode too and I don't know why they abandoned it. It was so fun being the berserker and other locusts and just killing everyone and wrecking everything lol
The Covenant are formiddable opponents in general. Considering this is ground war only without Covenant Carriers. But to fight Locusts, Wraiths wouldn't stand a chance against Brumaks or Corpsers. Hunters would get demolished by Beserkers. Seeders would give huge problems against Infantry. Scarabs would be their best bet to defeat most of their large heavyweight creatures, but they would be overwhelmed due to their massive architecture and slow movement. Banshees and Reavers seem like an incredibly close tie between each other. Disadvantage towards that is thatReaver pilots aren't blocked by shots. Locust don't have shields like most of the Covenant forces do, but most of them.have the brawn brute strength that a Jiralhanae does, possibly even more.
I remember playing through this dlc as a kid it was sooooo much fun because of that feel of being an unstoppable baddass beast I just wish they added him into gears of war 4, yes I do know you can play him but not like this ALSO I hope they bring the reaper back too

Did anybody else try to knife charge all of these guys from behind so when you got the closeup you could see their faces and the eyes of their helmets? I know this seems dark but to me it was not only satisfactory, but also cool.
I was hoping for a Gears Game set during the Pendulum Wars, and you could play as both Marcus and Paduk in campaign and then its COG vs UIR in multiplayer, but what fun would the game be without the Locust, Lambent or Swarm?
Can we please get locus wars game were we just play as the monsters or like the gears get there powers like i want this game im so sick of the weak main character feeling i need another game like prototype where we are a over powerd villain monster
