What a fabulous production! Elisabeth Teige will forever be my Senta.
I think this is Wagner's first truly great opera and the one which has his trade mark sound
The interpreters of the Dutchman and Senta are excellent! Brilliant rappresentation!
Elizabeth Teige is amazing, i loved it!!
The awful daring of a moment's surrender which an age of prudence can never retract
Wonderful
Magnificent Senta.
Good orchestral tone. OK singing. Interesting staging. But the whole thing marred by ads every so often. I find it impossible to "get into" a music drama like this when ads interrupt one's attention.
Bravo, Iain!

Great performance.
Strøgent!
I'm really confused because the first description (untitled) says Presented by Bergen National Opera and the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, but then the second description (titled "music") says Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège, Christian Arming. They can't both be right, can somebody help us out please!
The information in the description is correct. The other information is UA-cam generated- if you scroll through it, you will see several different recordings of Holländer that UA-cam thinks are present in this video.
damn he sure looks Dutch he almost looks like van gogh from his self portraits!!
Came here for homework B-)

they should have put English subs better
This is Norway
Norwegians understand English.
Silly and ugly staging…
Mediocre singers except for the Senta, she’s near ok.
Typical of today's stagings. Uninspiring and unevocative...and CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP. I saw many operas in the 1970s and 1980s, but almost never today. It's always disappointing.
The backdrops are so plain. Like come on, I've seen high school productions with more effort put into staging.
