Holy smokes he did the paint job from the outside 😯 ive always did mine from the inside so you still have the outside to protect the paint job .. thats what's awesome about this hobby everyone can find there own way to get the same results .. congratulations on another awesome video
Almost impossible to do this type of paint job from the inside, just doesn't work with how you apply and remove paint to achieve the patina (weathering). Very common in custom scale builds where you want to show wear and tear 👍
painting from the inside is the norm but it is always glossy and unnatural because of shiny lexan. So for scale builds, matte and patina jobs, painting from the outside is the way.
Great looking build! The wear and tear (patina) looks perfect. I would likely have used the 'hairspray technique', quicker and offers more control. Hard to argue with success though, right? 😉 Amazing craftsmanship , the skill and experience to pull off a job like this is unbelievable! 👍👍
@@RCReviewChannel Yes, lots of videos out there. Comes from the scale modeling world, mostly Armour, but applies to just about any subject where weathering is needed. Versatile technique 👍
Nice 👍 … how about add a differential in the front and lift the rear a slightly bit more, so when you put a load on it,it keeps clearance off the wheels ? Big difference then all the other ones out there nice 👍

What an amazing project!!! Randy is super talented! Congratulations!
Are you planning on weathering the rest of the truck? That would be amazing! 😁😁😁🙏
Weathering the bed and carrier looks like it needs to be done at some point.
@@RCReviewChannel I think it totally deserves it! 😁

Cool video....
Shout out to using a garbage can as a paint table. I did that and my wife has never forgiven me...but it was worth it.
Yeah, this garbage can has seen a lot of painting action.
what wheel spacer did you use?
