Not right, completely wrong. Replacing 'y' is only a dialectal pronunciation in Malayalam, which is spoken in the northern region. It is indeed challenging to depict that letter accurately because there is no corresponding word in Hindi. I would say it is similar to the sound when an American English speaker pronounces the letter 'r' in the word 'first'.
@@zetaupsc Actually in Tamizh there is three forms of the "L" sound that u would sound based on the angle of the tongue as it hits the roof of the mouth La - ல - tongue hit the back of the upper incisors Zhla - ள - roof of the upper jaw like 60 degree Zha - ழ -tongue hits and curls back > 90 These are sounds only present in Tamizh and Malayalam. So it is Bharatha-pu-Zha
