I use both the little lint brush and a small vacuum attachment kit - the small brush - to vacuum out the machine. I bought the small vacuum attachment kit at JoAnn Fabrics in the Huskvarna Viking Gallery for $20. Well worth the investment.
Thanks! I can't find anything about oiling in the manual either but I've been putting a drop or two now and then in the hole beneath the bobbin holder.
Funny enough, my machine guy just walked in the door for a 'house call' (for a different machine) as I was replying to your comment so I verified with him what I wrote (correct). I'm sure it's ok to oil that wick every now and then, just not too much. Great machine, eh?
No, I don't. But I take it in once a year for a professional cleaning and lubrication/oiling. Seems to do the trick. The manual doesn't say to oil it so I don't.

I have many machines and this is my main one I always come back to. It is a treasure and has worked perfectly for me!!
