I do well with media. All the not so good DVDs sell but hey small profits all add up. And are as good as big profits 😂😂
Actually bought Battle Royale for 20p Japanese film. And sold totally unrelated movie advertising poster inside the case fof £6.99
Always worth checking sometimes the value is not the actual DVD
Sometimes you can get more at CEX for media than you can in ebay

Don't buy and sell much media, but I recently bought 11 Horus Heresy books for £2. Have sold three so far for £70. It's all about being selective.

That's a huge question - start with the niche stuff, anything that sold in big numbers will be common and probably worthless
Bluray steelbooks are a nice earner. Buy numbered limited editions on release, sell them when they are sold out, or just 6 months later. If you buy and sell immediately you'll get banned from certain groups / online shops for scalping.

Am I the only one who finds the idea of constantly picking up media for 20p an item a fantasy? I mean, yeah, if you're getting the stuff essentially for free, at a token price, there's nothing to lose. That's not the reality for me.
The charity shop near me sells dvd’s and computer games for 10p each quite regularly to reduce the stock. No idea what there is but for anyone interested there might be a bargain. I’m sure some of the other local shops charge very little too ( I’m in York).
That wasn't a Whitefriars jug, I'm afraid. Whitefriars style and East European. Very generic shape and a common mistake.

@@NicHills It seems that many horror movies didn't make the transition to dvd, maybe that's why VHS are BOLOs.

I knew horror DVDs would come up. I got given a load of media for free and checked a few before I went to car boot them and safe to say they didn’t go to the car boot. It’s surprising how many have never had a Blu-ray release so always buy horror media if it’s cheap enough.
I'm not a reseller, but I wish they had yard sales by me , the amount of stuff I've given away on local freecycle would of cost a lot of money, if I would of sold it... and as for what goes round comes around, which I used to believe in, I was only after a lava lamp, I didn't get a look it, I know there's fakebook market place, but that wouldn't work either because I don't have an account 😂 I use Instagram, apart from car boots , is there anywhere else I could sell the things I still have {it's good stuff as well} anywho sorry for the essay, I'll crack on watching now 👍🏻
