    Yep just received my mini and 3" blocker ..
    Have seen this for years but the cost was prohibitive.
    Then started to price trays and pots and said..Hmm.
    So this is the year of the soul blocks! Great info..
    I am sure I will need all the help I can get!😊💪🏽

    Great video! We have been using soil blocks for several years. If you dip the blocker in a pail of water every few charges, they slip out easier. Happy growing season!

    Question, what type of medium are you using to soil block? Potting soil? Seed starting mix? I use a recipe that has 4 different components to it, so I am curious what your using?

    I always sow my tomatoes on April 15 so I can May 15 ( the last frost) plant in the garden.

    • @Fatimasroots
      @Fatimasroots 2 роки тому +2

      Interesting tomato seed packets always suggest you start them 8-12 weeks before. I have the same last frost date, curious to know when you begin to harvest your tomatoes?🍅🌿

    • @zuzauramek9850
      @zuzauramek9850 2 роки тому +1

      @@Fatimasroots I harvest tomatoes summer till autumn. You can always start sowing tomatoes on April 1 so till May 15 you have a bigger plant. But tomatoes grow very fast so a month before planting is enough time.

    That's the thing about gardening. There's a dozen different ways to do any one thing. The person that says "you must do it this way!" has too much hubris.
