Dumplings with caribou is something that one can cook with. I’ve been wondering..out of curiosity..do Inuits eat polar bear meat.

      They do not.

In emergency cases. If the bears liver, kidneys, stomach is punctured then all the meat is considered ruined. They have a chemical in those organs that as toxic levels of Vitamin A and eating it results to a trip to the hospital. So they only eat it if they are starving

Grizzly bear is delicious. I only boil their meat to eat. It's better than caribou.

Believe me white men's stuff is expensive in the north so people still relay on the ways of their ancestors living off the land part of why Natives, Inuits and Metis protect the land.

Why dont these people move to cities like Toronto, Montreal etc? Much affordable living with lots to do.

The answer is very long and complicated, you should research history and recent history of Inuit people if you want to understand.

@@yuugen7113 is it true that they receive a fat cheque if they stay in the reserves? It is really sad to see so many young people commit suicide or do drugs/sniff gasoline cuz "there isnt much to do".

@@solitudeinarctic787 liked he said do actual research about Natives, Inuits and Metis of Canada. Believe me Americans have been lying so much about Natives the world believe their lies.

It’s so much more complicated than just moving.

Not really. It all comes down to pride and ignorance.

Half the residents receive public assistance so they can buy food that has to be flown in? What's wrong with this picture?
It seems the Inuit culture is long gone. Time to move south and live in a more sustainable environment

Yeah Inuit tradition is dying out. Canadian government made sure of that. They succeeded in killing the native in us. They forced us into settlements. They gave us "vaccinations " and as a result, most common related death is brain aneurysm.
