Theres so much pain behind Lucifer's tough exterior... Honestly makes me cry. I just wanna squeeze through the screen & give him a big 'ol hug & tell him I see him for EXACTLY who he is & he is a good guy. Devil or no, he's a good guy.
I wouldn't call him a "Good guy"...but he truly does have his own form of justice and judgement. He's also sick and tired of people blaming him for the wrong choices that they make. Remember-The Devil has the power to tempt people to do wrong, but ultimately, it's their choice, as to whether they choose to do wrong, or do right.
When people hate themselves, then they punish others outside of themselves. Also as they punish themselves. This is the true hell.

The thing for me is that Tom Ellis seems to embody all the reasons why his character getting pissed would be intimidating. He’s a big guy (6’3 I believe) and he always seems really calm and collected so if he ever does lose his cool it’s gotta be frightening
The scene where he tells the doctor how his father vilified him, you can hear his voice breaking and you know he's really hurting when he says that.
And his expression after father Frank's death. When hes strangling spider. So pure. I hope he went to visit him in heaven in season 6.

Well it's a great performance. But the authors certainly do not understand who really devil is. Sad.
This show like others including the recent Joker movie are written so people will have mistaken empathy for evil people as if to justify their evil and or make excuses for it. Its a leftist mindset that people are never responsible for who they are, its always somebody else's fault. Its this very soft minded thought process that used to justify releasing criminals out that almost always commit more and worse crimes when released.
What? That's not true. Did you ever think that there was no right or wrong? Sometimes people just make mistakes and chose a villain where there is none. Most and that's a fact, People who do wrong do have reasons. Humans constantly judge instead of trying to solve their own feelings and issues. They point their fingers, whenever they can. Jesus got backslash for being rightful, how many Good people got killed for standing up for themselves? They all died and got casted evil or liars! Instead of saying 'Hey, maybe I don't know shit about that person or being, maybe I am in no position to judge' but no. People constantly blame, because they love that, they love to point their hypocritical fingers all the time! Joker as example, he was relatable. I don't defend him in saying murdering is okay or being batshit crazy but some people snap! That was the point of the movie! Not false portrayal of Good and Bad. BUT the fact that for some people, goodie two shoes who are constantly crying amen and claiming to be so godly and in the name of God, judge, hurt, misbehave and soak in their own little pitiful life using excuses to push others over the edge! I tell you what the devil is. The Devil is Men, for he casts and points the blame on everyone but himself and therefore creating his own hell of Lies. And that's a Fact.
