    Great wisdom,
    They say when Jacob wrestled with an angel his hip was touched by God disjointing it. If you've ever wrestled with stuck emotions or hips you will come out stronger than before.

    🙏🏾 Namaste. Had such a revelation after doing pigeon pose and just being aware of the differences on each side, and expressing gratitude for the awareness, because I’m no longer going through life on “auto-pilot” and being present is the best gift that I give to myself in each moment. Recognizing that when an instructor gives cues to get into a pose backwards, I find that my body goes into that pose with more ease than when I’m given the cues the way 90% of teachers give cues to hip opening poses. That is where my trauma is stored. So much clarity received in pigeon pose, and supine Figure 4 stretch, Lizard Pose, wide legged forward fold, Frog pose, Dragon Pose. I dreaded hearing any hip opening pose get called in class because it seems to taunt me and I would declare “ I hate this pose” UNTIL I was present in a class where the instructor haves cues to go into a hip opening pose in a different way than we were taught. I’m ready to write my story, thanks to pigeon pose! 😂🥰.

    I’ve started doing a lot of yoga lately again. I definitely do have a lot of past trauma from my childhood. I don’t wear it like a badge or talk about it to people like I’m a victim. But I’m pretty tense sometimes and think I carry it . After yoga 🧘‍♀️ I nearly always feel good but the next day I feel pretty down almost if I’ve done a big session.
    It’s hard to tell is this DOMs or is it something deeper like release of trauma or did I do to much and my nervous System is fried ha ?

    A grate synchronicity for me , I did yoga last 7 months everyday today I was thinking and feeling enormous freedom in my hip are and also in my vijnanamaya kosher , and came across your video

    Great video! I have felt a huge feeling of anger and stress receiving a massage on my hips. It was irritating 😠 but that meant I am holding so much in that area.
