DIY Horse Shoeing Stocks

Just sharing how I made my own horse shoeing stocks, so I can safely trim my mule's feet. There are some things I would do differently. I am not sharing any specific plans, because horses come in all shapes and sizes. I would encourage anyone watching to measure your horses and go from there.

Thank you. You give me hope. My aging horses are resisting standing for the farrier because of pain from ringbone and other problems, and I may be stuck with tending them myself. But I'm pretty old. 😂

I should note - I can give pain meds before attempting to trim, but I hate sedating them every time for my regular trimmer. Sometimes it's too much, sometimes too little. Not great.
