Wow! Ludwig is really keeping up with the times with the black nickel hardware and those exotic finishes! I’m a Gretsch guy, but that black purple exotic gloss looks amazing! They’ve really stepped up their game in the last few years.
sonor drums one of the true drum companies left , everyone else has sold out basically dropship manufacturing ,they buy the shells buy the wrap buy the hardware all out of taiwan and assemble so now you buy USA labor not USA made drums , the drum industry is wrecked , thank god for Sonor
@grumpy-g5s you are 100% correct. I can't understand why people are so excited about Slingerland returning when really all that's happened is Roland has acquired another name to sell under its corporate umbrella with none of the history or heritage of Slingerland and they'll charge you $2000 per snare drum.
At least they made the slotted 6mm not the thinner 2016 crap remakes. the listing on this at namm says 3mm but they said is a typo.. it is 6mm aluminum and 6mm maple
Yeah seriously like they said, thanks for covering this. I only seen what Ludwig posted on their HQ insta, but do have any info on when these new products are going to be available at all? Thanks man and you just got urself a new subscriber
It’s too bad you mostly film yourself when ppl wanna see the drums
HAH! I was JUST gonna make that comment!! 😂 Yeesh
Exactly

THANK YOU for posting this!
Thanks for covering the Ludwig booth!
Our pleasure!
I love the snares
Im curious about those shorter rack toms on the red sparkle kit
The Ludwig slotted snare drums are awesome!! I built one that i can adjust the gap for different sounds!
SHOW MORE PRODUCT! Don’t shoot yourself. It’s the ‘product’ we’re interested in. Already looking elsewhere for product feature videos. Grrrrr!
One of my early drum sets in the Sixties was the grey Ringo pearl Ludwig set .

Ask them why the Atlas aftermarket hardware has doubled in price?
Oh man!!! Been waiting all morning for this to drop! I need those stainless’!
You and me both!.
Who built the shells on the stainless steel kit?
Good point
Someone wake me up when they get to the Sonor booth.

Ludwig shells are created and wrapped/finished in Monroe, NC. I can’t speak to the hardware’s provenance.
Show the drums😂
Too much selfie........Dude!
I used to prefer Ludwig but now I ❤ TAMA.

Nice but like all instruments the price is way to expensive
All these wonderful wrapped finishes ,just bubble up in the Australian heat, such a shame
Selfie..selfie ..damn dude let's see some drums..more drums..more cowbells!!!😅
Less face, more drums please!
Лучше бы показывал больше образцы, а не себя ......

Man what a let down....all that space and hardly any drums.Did UPS lose a bunch of their boxes? So uneventful.
Ludwig is absolutely boring!... They're finished, minimal effort.
So don't buy one
Define minimal effort.
