Takamine TF360SBG = Dreadnought model 13! Thank you for the great showcase! Btw.: I am now looping my Boss VE-8 into the Fishman. Now I have the effects (as much as is needed) of the VE-8 plus the image of the Aura Spectrunm DI for my acoustic guitar plus a vocal signal aut of the VE-8 with reverb to go directly into an audio interface for on-line sessions...!
I suspect the models work best matched with the kind of guitar you are playing. For instance, they probably created their jumbo image by analyzing the signals coming from a piezo in a jumbo guitar against the same guitar being miked. When you supply the device with a dreadnaught piezo sound, the source is not similar to what they used to construct their image, so the image is going to sound bizarre. What they *should* do is add a *source* switch where you tell it what kind of guitar you are playing. That way, it can calibrate your source *before* applying the model. Then, even if you have a dreadnaught, you could use their jumbo model image and it would sound like a jumbo instead of tinny garbage.
Well done Thomas. So much better than Fishman's videos. Also, yes the looper idea will make set up perfect. I'm ready to buy having a practical idea of how it works. Thanks.
I have 3 acoustics... one with a Fishman mic blend, one with a Fishman piezo and one with a Seymour D Mag Mic. Would I only need this for the Fishman Piezo?
I bought one of these years ago. I couldn't see the point of it. It just muddies up the sound and never sounds 'right' I was playing a decent Martin back then. Anyway it stopped working after a few months, and I binned it. Never missed it.
The only video on the Aura that actually mentions the under saddle pickup type being used 👏
Wow! What a great review. This is so insightful and helpful. Thank you, Thomas.

Wollte das Ding kaufen, sehr gutes Video, das mich vor einem Fehlkauf bewahrte. Im Prinzip ist es ein Luxus-EQ.
Terrific showcase and playing.
Thanks Thomas! Love the use of the looper at minute 14 for comparing the various settings. Truly an awesome idea and one I’m going to try out.
what a review! thanks, man. i have the pedal but still watching reviews lol
Extraordinary review. Very comprehensive.
This pedal is meant to be used with an under-saddle pickup
Best instructional video out there, well done.
Great review - thanks!
Thanks, this is the best demonstration that I have come upon.
The best review of it out there, thanks much.

Where is the reverb coming from? Is it in the pedal?
Toller Test! Danke dafür!
Hi the Fishman Aura have boost? or something like that to do solos...?
Beautyfull machine thank's
i think the blend is most effective only with undersaddle pickups, not with magnetic pickups, like rare earth
Why the 50 ton of reverb?
I want one, Just amazing!!!👏👏👏👏
i thought fishman says aura spectrum d.i. doesn't work with non-undersaddle pickups ..
Hi is it good for nylon string guitar or acoustic electric classical guitar?
Well done Thomas. So much better than Fishman's videos. Also, yes the looper idea will make set up perfect. I'm ready to buy having a practical idea of how it works. Thanks.
The compressor is the best its good keeps everything level playing live!
Or totally kills your dynamics. For bashers
please review on Tonedexter
I take it the magnetic pickup isn't being used here at all?
Thanks, this video helped me. ;)
Very nice demostration, but i think is better split off your voice mic for real comparation piezo/spectrum

One question: aura spectrum or zoom AC 2?
Hey great guitar that you have here (N great paying indeed) ...which model of Lakewood is it ?

look for TONEDEXTER
thanks man
What looper pedal are you using ?
Jamman xt
Do you run over piezzo or soundhole pickup?
Piezo
is this likely to work well with a mic pickup or peizo/mic blend?
this pedal is meant to make it so you don't have to have that mic pickup to get the true guitar tone.
Do you still use the aura?
...wish my wife had his disposition.....
Sounds just like a piezo to me.
That reverb....I can’t listen to it.
la reverd no vale .suena mejor una mesa
La di es muy buena, pero lo blend al vivo Máximo de 40/50
