One more pair of twins the martin twins from 2019 , cody was drafted by the hornets while his brother Caleb later on joined him but got waived and joined the heat
I actually really like that comparison. There’s been some insane gliders but the effortless movement I can’t think of anyone who comes close to Jordan past these dudes
Amen and Ausar will both be All NBA players in their careers my opinion. I give Amen the slight edge because he plays the lead guard position which I see as more valuable in getting my offense going. Asuar is an All-Defense player already in my opinion and should win a Defensive Player of the Year award within the next few years.
Hmm, well you're on to something with regards to accolades, NBA rating, currently have Ausar at no.3 after Wemby and Chet. Hope Mr Troy Thompson, their father and agent, props his youngest twin, this time round and gives Ausar the media PR focus he needs. Mr Thompson speaking alongside his son, Amen on NBA Draft night earlier this year ua-cam.com/video/nihlDiV5_R8/v-deo.htmlsi=mdHKWHgX7UR_7ySD
Appreciate you posting up this video - was having a discussion about this very topic recently, and I referred to Ausar's coaches (David Leitao - who stated Ausar is very coachable; and Troy Weaver at Pistons, who remarked that Ausar "is NBA-ready" when he drafted him). I figured, it's clear, imo, that Ausar is the better basketball player over his twin, but when it came down to it, that Amen was drafted ahead of Ausar, mainly due to their personalities, Ausar has a "quieter persona" compared to his twin brother, who comes across as the more extrovert brother.
Right, but he’s really showing his worth as he’s easily top 3 in the ROTY race with his versatility on the court. Quite the definition of a Swiss Army knife.
Amen has a minor athletic advantage over Ausar, which is another reason I believe he was higher than Ausar. When I watch past OTE games, Amen just seems to have more bounce in his step than Ausar does. Either way I have to say both are genetic and athletic freaks.
@electronights3589 , the NBA is a whole different level to OTE - I do agree that both Amen and Ausar are gifted athletes, but they've reached a new level at their game-play which tests more than their "physical ability"; I say their skill-set and their willingness to hustle is gonna be called into question, surely. In any case I wish them well, cos they deserve to suceed
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Rockets were always gonna go for the twin who is the "Point Guard", so that effectively cut out Ausar. Ausar's position during his time at OTE, was more a SF/Wing position compared to Amen being a PF. Imo, I do think the twins are with the teams that need their already requisite skill-set; here's hoping Monty Williams doesn't rush the training program for Ausar, and same with Ume for Amen ❤
@@Jennifer-qy5dy yeah they were focused on backcourt, sign Van Fleet and lost Porter although i dont remember if that was before or after draft with kp jr's dumbassedness. Amen was generally higher in mocks too.
Excellent video! Just got a new sub. I was so wishing Ausar would drop to the Pacers. Ausar has been one if my favorite prospects for a couple of years and I never got why he was always ranked below his brother. Think you could do a video on the Pacers?
True, but Ausar has noticeably almost always had the edge on amen both in stats and winning in general. It’s gonna be cool to see if things change during their NBA careers.
I don’t really think he was drafted behind because teams though he was worse there stats were almost the exact same I feel like amen was picked 1st because he has higher potential as a better athlete and passer also a 6’7 pg is crazy
You're going to blow up. I'll link this comment at 100k subs.
I appreciate that, hoping it happens but happy with the success I have now!

Awesome vid bro, Ausar going 2nd is a blessing cause get more run to showcase his ability and boy is he doing just that!
No doubt!
both these kids MOVE the most like Jordan of anybody in recent years
Insanely athletic and very fun to watch
Projection
I’d say Jalen Green

Ausar Thompson to me is clearly the better player.
It’s really close but I do think Ausar has the edge

I respect the take, both super special talents!

I wonder how many people can tell them apart on street. I couldn’t, at all.
Rockets could have had a core of Ausar and Sengun.....that one day might be a massive what if, because Sengun is awesome

I really appreciate it, and I was already thinking about doing something on Tyrese, but why not just talk about the pacers as a whole. Stay tuned!

That Pacers vid u were asking for us now out!

Amazing very well done video my friend

44% from the field, 13% from three wont last that long in the modern NBA.
You haven’t seen his defense
Cody and Caleb, Keegan and Kris
This is really good! 😃
Appreciate it!
Well i think they both can be great amen is just on a way deeper team and gets less minutes also injured
True, but Ausar has noticeably almost always had the edge on amen both in stats and winning in general. It’s gonna be cool to see if things change during their NBA careers.

ain’t there the holiday twins too? damn I’m late
You forgot The Collins twins. Jason and Jarron
I don’t really think he was drafted behind because teams though he was worse there stats were almost the exact same I feel like amen was picked 1st because he has higher potential as a better athlete and passer also a 6’7 pg is crazy
That’s 100% fair, but we’ve also seen Ausar preform better than Amen on a more consistent basis imo. That’s why I believe he deserves way more looks
you forgot about caleb & cody martin and kris & keegan murray lol they still in the league
🔥
Appreciate it
is that k33fer gr33n at 7:18???????
Caleb and Cody Martin?
Yep I missed these two after going back, that’s on me. Appreciate the heads up!
Just to correct. It’s not Ay-men it’s Ah-men. The Egyptian way. Not the catholic way.
Appreciate the heads up
@@greentalksbasketball Yes. Also pronounce Ausar as in Oh-zar. It’s a derivative of the god Osiris. So same rule Oh-zi-Reese.
You forgot about keegan and kris Murray
