These live recordings from OFF! capture the punk spirit from the early years perfectly and are even better than the official Off! vids (which aren't bad either).

You sound like a fucking poser kid. Putting full commitment to punk is fun and great but it also has a lot of side affects. Leaving your family, leaving school, having to sleep at a different place every night, not making tons of money. Seriously think about it and wait till your older when you finish high school at least.

He's a goddamned pioneer for chrissakes.
I remember listening to his situation in interviews. Says he doesn't have a car and uses public transit to go everywhere. Says he has an apartment in a good location, where he can walk anywhere within 10-15 minutes. Didn't seem too obsessed with money, although I'm curious how much of that is under his control. Also remember reading that a group of friends did a fundraiser for him in the late 90s so he could get surgery.
But he's been clean since the late 80s and I don't recall any ongoing lawsuits. The Circle Jerks suit with Hetson seemed like it didn't go anywhere and Morris didn't want to pursue it.`
With all the work he has done over the years, all of the touring; he should be be, at the least, comfortable.
There is a recent OFF! underground video floating around on UA-cam where he and Dimitry Coats are talking about being high on some pills on stage, but even if that's true..I don't see him being _that_ broke or as broke as he seems, but who knows..? If he is broke, that's sad. Perhaps he is just overly frugal?

I can see him being overly frugal. At the very least, I know he has money rolling in from GTAV just on his radio spots alone. That doesn't include any of his Jerks money, his Black Flag money (although Ginn probably screwed him out of that) or any money coming from FLAG or OFF!.
