Our final trip of 2020. We decided to get the Fred Olsen Express ferry over to Lanzarote and have an overnight stay. This is part 1- showing you the ferry journey and sharing our experience of booking the cheapest hotel room currently open in Lanzarote- Apartamentos Jable Bermudas in Puerto Del Carmen. Its surprised us how good it was for very little money.
You can book ferry tickets directly on the ferry companies websites. Sometimes it is also possible to get a good deal as a tourist combining the ferry ticket with a visit to the water park. There are various tour excursion companies in Corralejo who offer good deals.
In part 2 we take a walk around Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote to see how the resort compares to those in Fuerteventura. We also enjoy a great night out and see how many venues are open at the moment.

Sea sick try this trick which worked for me. Went to France gale force 11 one Christmas period. I ate food literally for the entire journey(Pringles). Never felt queasy at all. It was a rough crossing. Have a lovely Christmas ladies look forward to your videos in the future.

Thanks for another video girls, especially this one on Lanzarote, as we are holidaying in Puerto de Carmen next September..We would love to be there now, but are been cautious, and waiting until times are safer to travel..
Stayed a week at the Ocean Club, just behind where you were, walk up where the restaurant you mentioned is and it is on the left, not many people there at the moment but is very popular with families. We are in Playa Blanca now and will be in Corralejo in January and Caleta in February so we will look out for you. Enjoy all your videos.

I went puerto del carmen in june it was boiling ,amazing beach , good bars and food, I stayed at the rocas apartments xx

We did a day trip as good passengers once when saying in calet a one year but only stayed around Plays Blanca, so will be nice to see a bit more of the island. We were supposed to stay at that hotel for a week, but had to cancel cuz my PCR certificate never came through. We have moved our holiday to may now. 10 days in corralejo at the fuentepark apartments 😁😁

I was there in 2016, just for the two days. Couldn't find anything under €80. I ended up sleeping on the beach, as I was on a budget. It was awful. Might be better now, but expect prices to be way higher than on Fuerteventura.

Thanks really enjoyed that.I use Travel Republic when I come over to Corralejo.The trick is to keep checking the hotel prices which fluctuate .TR is an online travel agency which uses a variety of booking agencies.Interestingly there have been no real bargains for the hotel I use in Corralejo since Covid kicked in.
We holiday in Puerto del carmen every year so thanks so much for your excellent vlogs. We usually stay at the other end of the strip and recommend Peking duck buffet restaurant and la Ola overlooking the sea stunning also good bars like Hawaiian bar the venue ( amazing views) and sally Joans. Keep the vlogs coming please lol. Booked for July this year so fingers crossed 👍👌🤞

I didn't really know what to expect. Really enjoyed PDC but not sure I would so much if it was really busy in the height of summer 🤷♀️Shopping is very good over there though.

Accomodation is very cheap here in the Canary Islands now because there are so few people around
We always seem to find good deals, the self catering places are very wallet friendly 👍

Hi ladies thanks for the video, I was nearly booking Fuerteventura over Christmas and then heard that the canaries was taken of the travel corridor list!, I don't know why i can't take a reciprocal antigen test when i arrive back home the same as when i leave it doesn't make any sense.
You can do that and reduce the isolation period to 5 days, but it is nonsense. As of today we have a total of 30 active cases on an island with a population of over 118,000 people

If you are travelling from the UK you must have a negative test before you travel.

Thanks girls for this.... December and the sun just kept shining-brill! Ive done similar in that we caught a ferry and stayed one night it was a good 15 years ago but can't think which apartment but it was a little unplanned adventure really which made it a great experience.
