It’s so incredibly funny. The guests come on thinking they may be in friendly territory and just coming in for a friendly interview. Jesse starts out with very neutral and friendly questions to open it up and then comes each subsequent question, designed to methodically set them up over the course of the interview. It’s so amusing to see the process 😂😂😂

I've been poor all my life. Raising my boys since the third grade. I am a 58 year-old man. I taught my boys to be tough and work for what they got. I never gave them an inch that they didn't work to deserve. I let them know they were loved everyday. We would have long talks where I would explain the world to them and what respect manners hard work. And do unto others more than you would do for yourself! These simple principles. And no room for back talk, telling me no was not an acceptable answer. And could get you more work. They learn how everybody working together made it easier. I taught them how to do their own laundry, cook for themselves, and fend for themselves. Just to show them that it can be done. I work my butt off and was always there for them. The one thing that never heard us was being poor. It was not a necessity to have a lot of money and buy a lot of material things. We went fishing instead and various other Adventures that cost no money. Being poor is a blessing! Never measure success on a monetary scale!

As a woman, I have no problem saying my husband is my head. I fully submit to him. I'm noticing this "me too" with women is becoming a very dangerous doctrine. Men are the heads for a reason. And I am so sick of these kinds of black people playing victim. Every race has been the victim in some situation. If they all took that approach, nothing in the world would function.

@@Terszel I think that's a terribly prideful view to have because I always saw us as Christians in the body of Christ as being equal in that way where we are not better or lesser than each other, but when it comes to Christ we are not just talking about a brother or sister in Christ we are talking about God our Father the Creator, so I would never say I'm equal to the Creator because that's a pretty bold and controversial statement to make for no reason. Clearly we are not equal, but we are also family and Christ IS actually our brother since we are adopted into God's family and therefore we have all the same things provided to us as Christ does. But that doesn't mean we're equal to Christ, definitely not. As I said, He is the ONLY begotten Son, which begotten in Greek means one of a kind. So I understand the spirit you're coming with in terms of saying Christ is our equal but WE ARE NOT AT HIS SAME LEVEL. I think that's blasphemous. He is THE MOST HIGH. We are sons and daughters of God as the angels are also called "sons of God" but we are not at the same level as Christ being the only begotten. The Word describes the Body of Christ in Hebrews as all the bands of the body provide nourishments to the head, which is Christ. Is the head, the brain, the mind at the same level as the hands? Of course not! But we are all of the same body and family, so there's that. But Christ is our High Priest as it also says in Hebrews. God bless sorry for the late reply. When something has dominion over your life in the way God does you are by definition lesser than God.

Really bugs some people apparently. Dude, this is so insightful. God is HEAD and RULER over us, but he is not an abusive lord. For some reason, the minute we start thinking about being "lord" over anyone else, we think it automatically means abuse, but that's not true. All sorts of orders of authority exist, but the authority is not abusive just because it is authoritative.
Jesse is a dang genius. Just being faithful to what the Bible actually SAYS and following how it affects people reveals so much about what is wrong in society today.
We fail to be lords over our women, and because of that they are left undefended against the powers of hell. That's a damned shame.
You know what else Jesse does that I love and I do it myself. I don't run around making excuses for myself. I don't know why, but if you catch me doing something wrong or talk about me doing something wrong, I don't lay it on society. And I do blame people for things, but I blame SPECIFIC people for SPECIFIC things they did TO me. And then if, because I was angry, I let that cause me to do something, I own what I did.
Jesse says straight up. "I was mad. I had poor character. I smoked pot."
Man it's just that simple. That's the way you deal with it. "I was wrong. I'm sorry I was wrong. I did it because I was wrong inside myself." And move on. No one should have to feel shame forever because of a mistake, but just own that mistake and move on. No one can change you but you, and before you can change you you have to admit there's something that needs to change.
28:07 I think Elder Wilson makes a strong point. Satan was created by God, but we do not blame God for Satan. Good parents CAN raise bad children. It's not the norm, but it happens. When people grow up, they begin to make their own choices, and it begins to be less and less about their parents the older they get in my view.
There is scripture behind both the idea that we cease from sinning as Christians and that we still sin. The Bible says IF we sin, we have an advocate. But it also says if we say we have fellowship with Him and walk in darkness, we lie.
I think the long and the short of it is you better stop doing whatever you're doing that you know is sin. God will reveal your sin to you, and if you just keep doing it, he'll deliver you to worse and worse until you stop making excuses and stop sinning.
It's not willful sin if you don't even know you're doing it. But at the same time, we really can't judge ourselves effectively I think.
In fact I think of Paul saying, "I judge not mine own self."
It's a difficult thing to line out in its entirety, but at the end of the day, here's what - stop sinning.

I just want to add that, we dont need to wait for the Lord to reveal us our sin. The bible is clear and plain about this, sin is transgression of the Law. The ten commandments, and this Law is contained by, "love your God" and "love your neighbor".

@Istlota Everyman You speaking FACTS, MOST rule over their black husbands. I have had mine try to do that, which I wasn't having, not for a SECOND. I am an Apostle/Minister of the word and when a message that I am preaching calls for THIS, I let it be known NO COMPROMISE and if a woman is upset, I LET THEM KNOW they need deliverance. I was even the head of the Men's Department and taught this from scripture, on MEN'S Sunday we did EVERYTHING. We only asked for the support of the women. Of course this made me a pariah to some, however, others loved the way I taught and led by example.

It is absolutely amazing that this so called preacher renounced his own manhood before Jesse asked him what a man is. This is exactly why America is in the shape it is in.
