It is. It needed to swap the petcock in this step. However I changed carbs to a FCR39. There is no vacuum port. The vacuum petcock can fail. If there is no vacuum you get no fuel. A gravity or a standard petcock, will always let you get fuel. Plus the vacuum petcocks leak. And the benefit is, decor pop. I explain it briefly in the video
'Passive Air Injection'. Did they have to put that on the bike to make up for the way that they suffocate the engine with the stock muffler and spark arrestor/emissions crap? Or, something else?
The Pair Valve is to passively "Inject" fresh air into the exhaust system at the exhaust port, to cause ignition of unburned fuel vapor *before* it leaves the exhaust pipes, or to thin out the mixture with enough air to pass emissions. It also causes popping and backfiring on deceleration when you jet, and exhaust it.
Having done secondary air deletes on R1s/zx9rs/R6s etc, not 1 has benefited from it. It doesn’t solve popping etc. 90% of popping and backfiring is down to ovaled emulsion tube/s on carbs or airleak.Secondary air is emission related
