The CaseMM is a part of a large collection made in 2000 (hence the "MM" roman numeral for 2000) as part of the 21st century collection, it was the only year it was made. Only 500 sets were made. Yours having the "070" on it means it was from set 70/500, Model 61549LSS Copperlock, i believe. It was a large set with 10 knife patterns in 5 different handle materials each. All in a big leather case. There is one example of the complete collection for sale that i could find, its going for $7,500. Hope this helps.

1966, the year I was born. I have one like it, don't think it's 1966, but back spring is broken. Injoy watching you work on knives. I think prybar is for popping scales or something. Think was Marbles. Been awhile not sure. Have a great day

That 1 is a knife pick to open the blades
That 1986 Mil-K 818 utility knife was mfgrd by Queen City Cultery. The date stamp 8 looks like a 6 kinda to old eyes (😂)..... Queen had a contract in 1985 and 1986 to mfgr them..... Every one of those are amazing treasures. Semper Fi brother.

Case MM was Case's way of commemorating the turn of the century (2000).

The MM depicts Millennium. The knifes made in year 2000 had MM.
You are correct in that the knives made in 2000 had the MM. But the MM is roman numerals for 2000. I made a full comment on the history of that knife if you're interested.

Mr Webber, has a very generous heart. He wrote that he was in the Vietnam war and I wondered if the milk knife he donated that had 1966 stamped in it was his issued knife I didn't hear him say dates in the letter. Great show liked the queen Barlow especially. Is it called never dull? I'll have to get some for my knife cleanups it works great. Stay safe. Blessings to you.😊
