In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion. - Комедії
Still the best contestant they've ever had. Threw himself into every task like it was the most important thing hed ever done. Cheating at every possible chance he got 😂
Yeah, he's one of my favorites for sure :) Together with Rob and Acaster. I really liked Kerry too!
@@andreaskarlsson5251 my top 5 would be
Tim Key
Bob Mortimer
James Acaster
Rhod Gilbert
Ed Gamble
For sure top 5, I can say Joe Lycett is my favorite but this cast is my favorite cast
@@thesimpsons17 I lobe Bob Mortimer from wilty but I felt he was a bit lackluster in taskmaster. But could have been cause I had such high expectations. :P His high anus had me gasping for air though!
@@stenbak88 you mean Hugo Boss? 😉
Not a coincidence that he became a task consultant for the show.
To be fair, he is Alex's best friend. Makes sense a bit irrespective of his performance.
He is also the reason the show exists. I believe Alex started the tasks as a distraction from when Key won the Fringe. Being Taskmaster was Alex’s way of coping.
@@coverticals I thought it was because he couldn't go one year so this was his way of participating.
@@hilarylannan9657 That year he couldn't go was the year Tim Key won the festival award and that goaded Alex on.
The sweatsuit, headband, and dress shirt with tie kills me every time
No. It doesn't
Yes, it does
Strawberry Unicorn here he is, boys. the one who doesn’t know how to take a joke.
Strawberry unicorn I bet you’re fun at parties
@@Minecraftisbeast47 Nope. It definitely doesn't kill anyone.
Romesh asking for a towel = how a friend asks
Tim asking for a towel = how a best friend asks
When Tim used Comic Relief as a tool to high-five a 55-year-old and Alex suggested he donate £185 because it “just feels like the right number” was the moment I fell in love with this show forever.
Literally, the reason Alex invented taskmaster
Rewatching Tim might be the reason why Alex says hi to each contestant before a task. He didn't really in series and you notice it with acaster
Tim and Alex were are best buddies. You couldn't tell though. Lol
In my opinion, the best Taskmaster contestant. Felt like he was always trying to be clever about how to do each task.
It was a mixed bag I felt lol. He's got the bull in a China shop mentality like a Wilkinson in some tasks and other times where he's like Rhod takes a step back and thinks about a different approach
That was why I like Hugh Dennis, I feel like he got disqualified for trying to game the system so often, I always looked forward to seeing how he'd tackle each task.
"I don't want to put words in your mouth, but you really gotta admire my ambition"
I know this is about Tim Key but Romesh was absolute gold throughout the whole tea throwing task. Not just with his own task, but his indignation towards every contestant after. THERE WERE NO BOXES, MATE.
He’s got to be the biggest cheat in Taskmaster history which is amazing since he was in the first season, no one has cheated as much as him since
Rhod Gilbert stretched the rules.
He started working for them after season 1, poacher turned gamekeeper. He must work out how to stop people cheating!
You mean Dave Gorman?
I think that’s the reason he was in the first season. To show that you can break the rules, that you can do a “wanky workaround”, cheat. And he was also in the first show because he’s a good friend of Alex. In those early days, comedians were wary of appearing on Taskmaster, they feared it would be like Fear Factor and there’d be humiliation. So there was great deal of reluctance. Tim’s a friend of Alex, Roisin is a friend of Greg’s. So they were on the show. The others were taking a chance I think. Tim also appeared in the first version of TM at the Edinburgh festival. Subsequently he’s become a consultant for the rest of the series.
I think it was because he is Alex’s friend so he thought Alex might be kind to him in the edit and not notice/ let him win…wrong.
I have to say, I do now want Tim Key and Frank Skinner to collaborate on a sitcom about the bumbling misadventures of Brad and Geoff.
The bastard love child of Peep Show and Last of the Summer Wine.
I love his coy little sip after talking to the Swede.
I like to imagine that Alex Horne is personally running this UA-cam channel
He is
He Definitely is
As he says on the show, he does all the admin
Chaotic Evil: Tim Key

Of all the people who participated in helping the comedians pull off their tasks, Fred has to be my all time favorite ! He is such a good sport and is really rather funny. Taskmaster needs to do a “Best of Fred” compilation !
They have one now 😁
@@thefunkyJ they do ? Thanks for the info ! I will search for it right now !
Tim is who I'd like to imagine I'd be on Taskmaster.
Joe Thomas is who I probably would be on Taskmaster.
His performance on the high-five is a modern classic
Another game to play is working out which tasks from series 2 onwards were Tim’s ideas. Pretty much anything where they have to excite/hug/do something bad and then apologise to Alex, I’m guessing.
Hands-down the most memorable contestant they've had, and it's no surprise he now works on the show. The first series was a strange one because they hadn't really worked it out yet - a lot of the tasks were taken quite literally, then Key came in and bulldozed all that! The cup funnel was genius!
A lot of people hated him for how much of a sore loser he was, but honestly I think that’s what made him so entertaining. He obviously cared and was trying his best
Absolutely charming. Bluff denial and bluff admission of cheating without missing a beat
Key to start
Only when you think about them.
lol his faces at the mall, hilarious
Tim Key is the best constestant because he always had great banter
"OK Tim, what you need to do is-"
"Fuck up the Taskmaster's lawn, got it."
A whole Tim Key vidéo with no reindeer skull
Where’s ‘powerful art’? Or for that matter his rabbit in red wine (with tequila and Um Bongo).
If you think about it, that blooper by Tim's team is a meta blooper reel.
Still my favourite taskmaster contestant of all time. (Along with Bob Mortimer and James Acaster)
Didn't Tim Key marry Noel Fielding to a duck in season 4??
Yup, and that's not even close to being the weirdest thing that's happened on the show.
Tim Key should be on another new season JUST COS
We still quote 'it's gone mate!', 'yeah it's gone I reckon' in the 'get rid of this block of ice' task'. So bloody funny.
This is what happens when you actually do send a poet
My fave contestant so glad he's a task consultant now on the show too 🤣
The blooper is my favorite
Unintentional blooper within the blooper video lmao
Absolutely love Tim key.
He’s kind of a genius
Funniest part is always when Tim got caught and penalized for cheating.
2 of the 5 weer carrying tea cups when they walked in on that swedish task, how british
He'd be great on wilty
I loved Tim on this show.
Tim Key is insanely attractive to me lmfao 🤣
Me too.. what is it?!
@@jasminmai3528 think it's just his pure chaotic personality tbh 😂😂
No more people who, when you think of them, have cooked dog food.
I see people from BTL have made it back here.
Dogfood pasta is still my favourite thing on this show.
Yay, another full episode coming tomorrow! 😁😁
Tim Key in that shopping mall looks like a 70s DJ in training.........
That last one was amazing
oh come on, you have to include the cheeky replacement of the plug! that was the best part!
Tim’s level of utter skullduggery is amazing! 😂😂😂😂lmfao
If anyone is interested the shopping centre is the Eden centre in high Wycombe.
Tim key is chaotic evil
Chaotic neutral!
He’s just a w⚓️
5:41 is the me, everyday.
Wait, what episode is the throwing the tea bag into a mug task from? I have never seen that footage before... I don't think, anyway....
Turns out a metal bucket scraping against a bathtub is the anti-ASMR.
And...... Still the best contestant ever sir Tim key
Best cast of Taskmaster but I gotta have me some Joe Lycett
Don't deadname
@@danshaggy292 I gotta have me some Hugo Boss
That shopping centre is in the town I grew up in so funny.
Brad and Jeff hahaha
Is tim key joe willkonsin without a beard
I'm nostalgic for these early seasons. Still an avid fan though
I would happily live in a universe where Tim Key had never existed.
Why didn't you show the draw & walk task
British TV is fucking weird and I love it
Love mister Thin keys. Looking forward to the best of Joe Wilkinson.
Finally!!!!!
It didn't show the end of the bath one that was the best bit
Omg I literally go to Eden Centre all the time that’s so funny
My fav
Does anyone know the real name of Fred the Swede? Or any of his social media?
Fredrik Ahlén but his ig is private.
Video unavailable
The uploader has not made this video available in your country
Keeps showing up on quite many videos, any way you could open that up?
On the blushing task you could of just bought blusher
I threw the ice in the water so it's gone
oh no oh yes
High Fiving in High Wycombe!
On one hand, Tim Key deserved a full 10 eps, and the production value of later seasons, on the other, it doesn't make sense for him not to be in the first season.
where is the shopping centre? whiteleys?
Well, your half right.... Lol
suggestions for two contestants best moments. Ed Gamble and Mark Watson
ermagerd I knew he was a shameless cheater but I forgot how delightful it was!
Do Rob Beckett next!
Good afternoon everybody
@James Cook fuck u pussy
Well that escalated
@@chattycathydoll I'm sorry 😔
does tim key design tasks on the series he was not in ?
yes
Apparently Alex Horne said on an interview or something is that they would just brainstorm ideas at the pub and he called him "Task Consultant" so he wouldn't feel guilty about using the ideas. I don't have a source on that apart from Tim Keys entry on taskmasters character tab on tv tropes so take it with a grain of salt.
I’m early to taskmaster holy shit
No more people who, when you think about it, cheated in the first season of a new show.
Hello Little Alex Horne. This message reaches from California, USA. I love the show and constantly have to wipe tears from my eyes, i been laughing so hard. I would like to pop a suggestion into a pigeon hole for ya...... Taskmaster UA-camrs edition.
my first thoughts, Matt Parker from StandUp Maths, Steve Mould, and Tom Scott. All of them considered generally smart/educated while still showing a sense of humor that could go well. Hope the idea tickles the noggin. Cheers!
maybe toss a little of the ol Colin Furze in there too.
🤣😂
Why was the comic relief thing an issue, it isnt like he took any money on the false pretense, just a high five lol
He lies readily. He’s an arse.
Kerry Godliman please!!!
Bosh!
Terrific norks
Didn't he cheat on another task too 🤣
he and Dave Gorman cheated just about half the time it seems lol
*Serially!* 😅
Africa: we need aqua
English Bath users:
For the high-five a 55-year old I would've googled if any of the shop brands were 55 years old. If so I would high-five the shop logo. They never said it had to be a 55-year-old human. And a high-five with 2 people is technically a high-ten as ten fingers are involved so if anything a high five with a logo is actually more accurate.
Who is he?
Tim Key. Comedian , poet and of course a bloody cheat Haha
This is what passes for comedy in 2020 Wow.
Yes it's a very well loved funny good natured show. Shame you dont like it. You do realise it's not the only comedy out there yeah.
This came out in 2015
@@SixteenJacobsCreams that’s even worse.
@@mikehall7189 I've heard what you've had to say, and I haven't enjoyed it.
@@mikehall7189 what kind of comedy are you into then Mike?
How is Romesh Raga .. whatever a " comedian" ? He is not remotely funny .
y so racist bruh?
He's living a successful wealthy fulfilling life you could only ever dream of while you're an anonymous, inadequate racist loser telling the internet you don't find someone funny. So embarrassing for you 😂
