"Acest cântec care pictează o imagine a nostalgiei de sărbătoare a fost scris de Irving Berlin pentru filmul Holiday Inn din 1942, în care Bing Crosby o cântă din perspectiva unui New York-ez blocat în California în timpul Crăciunului."
Rod Stewart & Nicola Benedetti - White Christmas
Lyrics:
"White Christmas"
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten
And children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow.
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white.
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white.

BEAUTIFUL....................
Rod Stewart genial...e Bravo Nicola.
Out-of-this-world performance. Thanks, Rod. And Nicola, you're heaven sent.
What a clean, fresh "incantation",, of an already beautiful, heart warming song~!~ Nicola's deep sounding violin gives us a warmer than usual tone. Very beautiful song, and an equally beautiful young lady ~!~
Proably the best version I ever listen.
Agreed
This is the most beautiful rendition of this song I've ever heard. Bravo Nicola.
Nicola Benedetti is considered one of the best female violinists in the world. She was a favorite student of Lord Yehudi Menuhin, OM (French Order of Merit) KBE (Knight/Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire), who was considered as the best violinist of the previous 20th century. She came to prominence after winning the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition, when she was only 16.
Many world renowned orchestras have invited her to play as a soloist for them. At 23, was awarded the title Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) by the Queen of England for her contributions to music and charity. That is why after her name comes the initials MBE, much like Rod Stewart, who was awarded the title Commander of the Order of the British Empire, is addressed properly as Sir Rod Stewart, CBE.
If I remember correctly, she has about nine albums to her credit. The Stradivarius violin she plays with does NOT belong to her. It was lent to her by a former President of Bank of America (Europe), named Jonathan Moulds after watching her in one of her many European solo concerts. It is a 1717 Stradivarius. She is truly adorable, simple, and down to earth, meaning not snobbish. She loves children and she has been going around many schools in many countries, trying to introduce classical music to the young.
Род всегда элегантен! Его всегда приятно слушать и смотреть. Супер!!!
A match made in heaven - Nicola Benedetti and her violin called the Gariel, made in 1717 by Stradivarius
Nicola Benedetti is amazing...........

I appreciate your gesture.
I did not know this little detail.
Happy Holidays!
The lady to Nicola's right seems to be completely in awe of her.
