I am so sad I missed this! I was deep in an adhd hyper focused cleaning session. So excited to see your results on insta. Congrats! I'm very excited myself, having a friend make your Greymon for me.. I would love to do it myself, but I am no where near ready for making glazes yet.
I spent years learning what I could on my own and at school. I studied and studied and am still learning and then a friend asked me to teach her how to throw. I think she thought she could learn it in an afternoon. All the berserk hormones in my head went off but I still controlled them. I said sure. She would never ask me to come and help her as I knew she wouldn't. so I always say of course I will but they never do.
I’ve not seen others spray leather hard pots.
The Mayco glaze looked great. Wondering why you aren’t using Inco since they are local to you?
there's a clay making guy in Richmond CA who makes up your recipe (1000 lb min) He makes up clays for Laguna for N CA.
You’re going to l-o-v-e Mayco products!!!!
is it so hot in your studio that you can sweat down you arm into the pots and not use water?
