I can’t thank you enough, our horn stopped working and the dealership where we purchased the car wanted £274 to fix it. After watching this great video I can now do it myself for a total of £32 for a new stalk. Thank you!
Can change indicator liver and wiper liver of duster with each other because I am from India and driving right hand drive duster in india so I want to use indicator by right hand pl guide me in this regard ?
Wow thank you. To any other woman out there wondering if you can do this, then if I can, you can. It really is as straight forward as the video. Thank you for saving me £200+
This worked, thank you for an excellent guide Just a note as it cost me about 20 extra minutes faffing around! Once I connected the new stalk I tested all the lights worked, high beam, hazards etc but found the indicators didn't work, after a lot of messing around - the indicators only work when the engine is fully turned on 👍🏻 Hopefully this saves people a few minutes!
Don't normally bother commenting but this video has saved me a few quid. Got the part off ebay for round about 18 quid. Replaced in 5 minutes. Nice one.

Your video gave me the courage to replace my light switch as I thought that was a time consuming job. I got a second hand new switch, costed me 20 bucks, and 20 minutes to replace it. Thank you for the video!
Thankyou so much for posting this, had issues with headlights not turning on, ordered a new stalk and followed your tutorial and now working perfectly. Thanks again

Just done my switch excellent advice and tutorial . Buy of Amazon just type in the switch you're after then a filter pop's up type you're registration number in and it'll direct you to the proper switch 👍😁👍
Ta very much - My headlights stopped working on a 2013 Dacia Sandero last week. I checked the fuse and changed the bulbs but that did not work. Replacing this switch as per your video sorted it. Much appreciated. I just needed a T9 bit to remove the light switch screws. All the best.

Thank you very much for this tutorial. When changing from Main Beam to Dipped Beam on my Dacia the lights were going out!! Plunging into darkness wasn’t very nice! I was able to install the new part within 10 minutes (I had to borrow the T10 tool from a friend but I already had a T20 attachment). The part came with T10 nuts x2 and when I was tightening the lower T10 nut it sheared off so I used the ‘old’ T10 nut for the upper hole and it seems fine and secure. Everything is working again. You have saved me a fortune!!
Thank you so much, very helpful video! Something broke in the stalk of our 2008 Logan MCV and the high beam couldn't be engaged. After watching you I could replace it myself in under an hour!
Great video saved me a mission. I was shocked when my headlight went out as I started indicating and thought there was some random gremlin. I'm off to order a new stick now. Thank you very much. Liked and subscribed
Thank you for this video. Very well explained and I've just successfully changed my switch. Hardest part was getting the plastic covers off and on again.
Thank you for the tutorial. That's why I like this car. It is so easy to fix by myself. It may be a cheap car but at least I don't have to pay hundreds of pounds to fix things on it. One of my friend has a Seat. The mechanic guy had to take off the front bumper to have access to switching the head light bulb. On my Dacia Sandero it took 5 minutes. And this Stalk is the next thing. The garage wanted to ask for 300 for this. I can fix it myself for 27 pounds thanks to you
Excellent video. The horn on my Dacia Sandero 2015, would only work when the lights were switched on. Followed your instructions and had stalk disconnected in 10 minutes. The stalk is faulty. New one ordered from Amazon for £18. You saved me quite a bit of money. Thanks 👍
Thank you so much for this video. It gave me the confidence to change the wiper stalk on my Dacia Logan which I was able to do in about 10 minutes. Saved a fortune on how much the dealer wanted to charge. Thanks again.
Thank you helped me fix my dipping lights which rarely turned on before 👍 the replacement stick i bought (not the one in the link) is a bit stiffer but atleast my lights work now :)
Great video. My head lights don't always work, takes a bit of fiddling could it be loose wire and I take it apart push in adaptors or replace entire stalk? I'd appreciate your view on this
Thank you. I've been having this issue with dipped headlights not coming on when switching from main beam and suspected a poor earth connection but the issue came back. Living in a rural area it is very disconcerting to have the road vanish suddenly 😬 this appears to be the solution I'll leave feedback for how I get on.
So 50 night miles later the job is a success, the fitting of the replacement switch was as easy as in the video and I'm very happy thanks. And I must congratulate you on finding the only Sandero on the planet dirtier than mine😁
Thank you. Just changed mine as the horn wasn’t working, once I took the old one off, the yellow wire was unattached which explains why the horn didn’t work. I used your guide to help, was very useful-thanks 👍🏻
The horn in my 2015 Renault Sandero Stepway doesnt work if I have the headlights on, but if I switch them off it then works. Could it be the light switch that broken in my car too?
Brilliant video, very clear and easy to follow. I replaced the stalk as I had a problem with the headlights on, turning on the indicators made all the lights go off entirely. The problen is that having replaced the stalk my indicators no longer work - any idea what could be the cause?
@@Servicetutorials It's ok - I turned everything off and left it for a while and it started working without doing anything more to it - happy days and thank you again. :)
