I’m going to be honest, I’ve enjoyed your channel even more since the Rocket incident. Your creativity has really come through even more. It also seems like it has allowed you to dream more. Plus as a Mom I love seeing the family stuff too. Enjoy the time!
classic minifigure brickheadz was a suggestion I put in a recent Lego insider survey. Also suggested NFL teams, not a hockey fan but NHL might be cool too, as Lego did do some Euro Soccer teams.
Yes a NFL and ice hockey sets would be great. I have one of the old soccer sets .I payed $70 an was amazed how much the mini fig s with Adidas shirt. Are werth
I had actually never heard of TD Bricks, so I checked it out - your content is way better!!! He's got too many fast/quick edits. Keep up the amazing work and stay the course!!
Would you consider doing a map of the final city layout from the basement; like with all the street names, train stations and where places are and stuff sort of like a tourist map of the final city layout before moving i think it would be pretty cool
I prefer your content style to TD bricks style. I learn more from you about how to improve my own daily journey into bettering my collection and display of said collection. Ex: I recently saw 4x4 gray plate on the PAB wall and freaked out cuz I knew i could go home and pull up your video on MILS plating and make some of my own. I see you as an "expert" whereas I would see TD as only a visually pleasing piece of entertainment which i forget an hour after i watch it. Your content lasts in my mind and has a deeper impact on me as a consumer. I actively refresh your pages on a daily basis. be yourself! ❤
pt.2 : another example is the ikea tables. I went back to your recent trip to Ikea video and it helped me find suitable tables for my sets while you gave insightful input about the color choice and how certain surfaces scratch more easily or are tougher for filming. All of this stuff is so useful to me as a newer AFOL.
To touch on the question about an adult Lego City sub-theme, I totally agree. I missed out on the Family House and electric car for 2023 (I never saw it on sale online) and the demand for it on eBay is insane. So I feel like the demand is there! I love the creator 3 in 1 buildings too. I need more copies of the Downtown Noodle Shop!
Regarding upsizing existing modular buildings, I’ve always had a soft spot for my first modular, the Palace Cinema, but it doesn’t seem to get much love in the Lego city. Any chance you will upsize/modify it?
I’ve been coming back to your channel over everyone else because I think your personality and video content is better than anyone else. I watch you daily. And have done for about 2 years now. Keep up the incredible work
I didn't realize that the new space is bigger than your house, really puts into perspective how big it is Cool to hear about the inspiration you got from brickcrafts 18:33 I 100% agree that Lego and bricklink should be synced Thanks for answering my question, I hope lego does something like it. Also realistic common cars that aren't race cars is a bigged missed opportunity by Lego I didn't know the origin story of the name Bricksie
Congratulations on the new space! Have you thought of more options for one of the empty walls? A potential option could be a wall of brick heads for your large collection. Similar to the wall of mini figures you have now. Whatever you I'm sure it will be great!! Keep up the GREAT content!.
I love the idea of the classic Lego brickheads. I don’t collect Brickheads but I’d be down for a forestman, Red Beard and Spaceman. Really they could do all the old Lego exclusives factions and probably sell really well. Brilliant idea!
Building custom LEGO and MOCs are so much more rewarding than buying a set from LEGO. If your able to design using something like Bricklink Studio and then order the pieces, it becomes a really enjoyable project.
The list of potential for your new city is amazing…. I was desperately waiting for that home depot you promised with lumbar yard etc… but pair that with tim hortons etc… the list of one off unique builds is huge now
Have you thought about placing tables along the walls and an island in the middle of the new studio. The city in the middle and dioramas along the walls is what i would do :)
Everyone, let's come together and help this channel get to 500k this year. All we need to do just to show our appreciation for this channel and all the time and effort it takes to make all the vids for our entertainment is to share with just one different person everytime we watch a vid and help this channel grow like crazy. In my opinion this guy really goes above and beyond to get us all videos to watch and for that brief time allow us to be entertained. Plus, hitting the like button helps also. Either way, it totally free.
While watching, an idea for integrating Star Wars into your city hit me (especially since you’ll have the space soon). Build a convention center, and have a SW con, you could have it like people are cosplaying, people cued up for entry. So you could even have multiples of singular characters (even with different variations from over the years)
Whats Brickcraft is doing in is City that I don't think is a good idea for you is the lighting. Once you've installed lights inside your city you locking it in place. It becomes so much harder to redo the entire layout if you want to add a new set. Or to change the theme of a section.
Hey Jordan! Before asking my question for your next video, I would like to congratulate you for your cool content! I have a question that is bothering me, about my personal collection, that maybe you already answered, but here it goes: do you have any part of your collection that is stored away, or is it all in display? Does it make sense to keep sets in bags that we will probably never assemble/display again? Sorry if the question does not make sense, but I have a large collection, and no display space for it at the moment... Probably I will have a bit of display space on the future, but there are sets that I know I will never be able to display, and recently I started really to think if that makes sense at all... I do not need the money, but by other hand is "money" that I have in bins that probably will never see the daylight again... Sorry for the big testament, but I would really like to know your input on that! Keep up the good work
Hey Jordan, Another great episode. My question for the next episode is: Have you considered purchasing the Horizon Express? Are you a fan of it? (Apologies if this has been asked before). Part two of the question: I’m the new warehouse, are you going to have the city to be a ‘cross section’ of a bigger city or a self contained city?
Ask Bricksie: As the helmets are my favourite Lego subtheme which ones are your favourites? Additionally I am so sad that they’re stopping that subtheme and truely hope for a comeback soon. Which Marvel and Star Wars helmets do you think they need to make? My list includes, Captain America, Deadpool, Wolverine, Antman, Bo Katan, Kylo Ren, 332nd trooper, 501st trooper (this list could go on for ages)
I use the open container system for technic beams, panels, and frames, and it works well for that. But I don't think it would work well for pieces of which you need a smaller volume readily available.
You know what would be a fun challenge: "Take bricks you never use and work with them to make something." See what you can do with colorful slanted slops. If you have the time you could even do a bricklink's studio context to see what other came up with.
Hey man! When you move into your new studio and redo the LEGO city would you consider doing UA-cam shorts showcasing each building and modular while you place them into the new city?
I think your space could be big enough to have different “seasons” represented in the landscape. We could have a permanent winter village and/or Lion Knights set up. Thanks for the video!
Hey Jordan was wondering if you considered the temperature of being up in the mezzanine for your building area during the warmer months? It will most likely be 5 to 8 degrees warmer than the base floor. I would imagine you wanting to be as comfortable as possible for having a good mind to think and create builds. If you end up having to get some kind of air conditioning setup you would have to have set lower for the mezzanine to be comfortable then be too cool on base floor. If I were you I would use the mezzanine for storage and shipping area. If you end up looking into unit(s) for having air conditioning you might be able to hit up MRCOOL and they may do a sponsorship deal with you for you making a video of install and review of the unit(S). I have seen many UA-camrs do this. The MRCOOL units can do both heat and cooling. I have bought 3 of their units for my home one on each floor and love them had for 4 years now and plan on getting one for the garage soon. I am in no way affiliated with MRCOOL by the way lol. Congrats on getting a place to expand your city and your mind you really deserve it man.
@@aydenryken9314 my thoughts exactly. Given Chris from DuckBricks's recent success, and his lack of MOC experience prior to the show, I think Jordan and Mrs. Bricksie would make an amazing team.
I recently started collecting Lego in October 2023 and I have a problem getting rid of the boxes... I just can't bring myself to throw them out. Do you keep your boxes or do they get thrown out immediately? Love the content by the way ❤
Yeah, I love Lego but not a custom guy myself. I love the actual sets and following the instructions, getting the box artwork etc. Have to agree with the comment re Lego releasing too many sets. I’m of the same opinion. Even though I really only focus on 3-4 themes (and not everything in those themes appeals to me anyway) it’s near impossible to keep up these days. I’m constantly playing catch up (trying g to prioritise my retirement date). Or sometimes a set will become available at a really good price and you end up buying it when you hasn’t planned for it.
Having watched your city breakdown, i was wondering how all the mills plates of the city fit together with no gaps and dont slide off the table since there's no "outline"
Quick idea - in portsmouth england there is a museum which is actually the HMS Victory ship of the line. Cool idea might be to customise the barracuda ship to be something similar if your doing more water and a port
Have you been on or would you like to be on lego wars? The competition on TV? I really enjoy your channel and am looking forward to see your new studio space. Lots of love from Sweden
A back drop would be cool I think Lego in the backdrop, the Aston Martin DB5 is a cool one I like speed champions or the new Land Rover but good pick 👍.
As somebody who has copied your sterilite system with a much much smaller piece count (I sort pieces by type and combine all colors) and have 16 containers, I love it!
Jordan, two questions: What Stat Wars Midiscale ships would you like to see? I know you're excited for the 25th Anniversary Sets (Falcon and Tantive IV). Also, what cars/trucks would you like to see in the Speed Champions line? Have a great day!
Think you answered everything on new place on Everything. But are you going to have fun and what you expecting this year from Lego this year and to improve your display xx
I am from BC and registered for BrickCan 2024 for the first time and displaying a MOC. I know you will be neck deep in your new Lego location but, do you think you might keep the Canadian end up and make the show? It’s right beside the Airport with Tim Horton’s nearby!
Would you ever build multiple cities in your next layout in the new location? You could have a highway running through the middle connected to multiple fairly big cities!
It's not ludicrous that Lego doesn't list their parts from the Lego factories on Bricklink. A perfect example is what I was doing recently. I wanted some of the new cows so I check Lego and they are $9.52 each on the PAB site but I can buy them from Germany off of BL for $6.16 each. They would be shooting themselves in the foot if they did that.
Hi i just had a thought, oh wow, while listening to someones question about star wars in your city. You could have a film studio street/ section that would allow you to add some star wars or other themes Indiana Jones Jurassic park etc without going all out on a massive area dedicated to each theme.
Ask Bricksie: Would you consider building a Cyberpunk themed district in the new facility? Or even some Star Wars influence? Doesn't even have to be a district, it could be a street or a little alley like Diagon Alley in your city except Cyberpunk themed. I know you said you wouldn't due to the size and other concerns with said sets but, just thinking of some ideas to help fill in the amount of space you'll be getting. Thanks for the content.
Tbh, Aston Martin was not what i expected as your favourite. Maybe I'm biased because it was my least favorite of the modern ones. I just wished it wasn't movie related and just the car, but I understand why it is.
Ask Bricksie: Would you consider buying the modular buildings you don't have atm, for the new and bigger city, to fill it up? Or is it too expensive to do so?
Do you think the new Lego ideas red telephone booth set would pair up well with the creator expert London bus from a few years ago? Or is the scale off to display both together?
If you get asked to Lego Masters again, you definitely should jump on the opportunity. While it would stink to be away from your family for so long, it could potentially help grow your following and would be a super fun experience.
Cant simon or an assistant make those instructions for your custom builds.. you say no, but equally its great revenue stream… maybe its time for a spare desk and computer at the new bricksie hq? This studio could not only turn your city, but the entire brand into another level … and it isnt that great a commitment, especially if you have a handful and waiting audience to buy… just look at Brick Artisan rolling in cash… a guy you know from sides.. as a creator and you being a customer.. just consider that for EVERY fan here today, tomorrow and beyond
i have two mods sets [daily bugle] [Ninjago city gardens] and i am currently building a lego city on a horizontal space any builds ideas that you think should be on a small city love your vids every since i started my city keep going
QnA: hello Jordan, Danny here greetings from California, I’m a big fan of your channel because of Lego since I was a kid growing up. My question is are you going to have a Lego ninjago diorama in the new studio that you acquired I think you should combine all the sets plus the Lego mountain you built with the temples I think will be a good fit for the Lego city. Have a great day and God bless!
Any advice for someone who lives away from their bricks? I’m studying in Edmonton but my collection is in a different territory - miss being under the same roof as all my parts & minifigures
@bricksie- do you think you will get rid of your technic sets since you might be moving away from the theme since you might be running out of space/ running out of the love of technic??
I’m going to be honest, I’ve enjoyed your channel even more since the Rocket incident. Your creativity has really come through even more. It also seems like it has allowed you to dream more. Plus as a Mom I love seeing the family stuff too. Enjoy the time!
Thanks for answering my question, Bricksie!
Agreed, Brickcraft is incredible!!
Agreed. Their video on how they made the quarter tile cobble stone streets has stuck with me. Such great technique (and very time and part intensive)
I am a rock music fan, i would love to see brick heads of metallica, Ozzy and others..that would so awesome 🤘
That is what I’m saying🤘
classic minifigure brickheadz was a suggestion I put in a recent Lego insider survey.
Are werth
I think Lego would be advised to wait a few years for NFL stuff. If it continues to grow in Europe and other markets then I see potential for them

To touch on the question about an adult Lego City sub-theme, I totally agree. As a complete out there alternative for brick storage in your new warehouse you could build your own PAB wall ❤ love your videos.
Regarding upsizing existing modular buildings, I’ve always had a soft spot for my first modular, the Palace Cinema, but it doesn’t seem to get much love in the Lego city. Any chance you will upsize/modify it?
With everything youve said all i can say is thank you bricksie for the episode.
Ask Bricksie: Would you want Ben and Millie to get into Lego when they get older? And if so, why?
I’ve been coming back to your channel over everyone else because I think your personality and video content is better than anyone else. I watch you daily. And have done for about 2 years now. Keep up the incredible work
With all the new space, the new City should be a bunch of different "Islands" of lands with each a different weather/climate theme
Would highly recommend getting glass doors on your new displays. It’s what I’m definitely doing when I move out soon 😊😊
I didn't realize that the new space is bigger than your house, really puts into perspective how big it is

They could do an astronaut in every color as a BrickHeadz and I think they would all sell really well!
Building custom LEGO and MOCs are so much more rewarding than buying a set from LEGO. If your able to design using something like Bricklink Studio and then order the pieces, it becomes a really enjoyable project.
Great vid Bricksie. Will you be placing the Eiffel Tower in the new Lego city location ? And, maybe add a moc Arc De Triomphe too

The main 2 Lego channels I love (besides yours) is Brickcrafts and Brick World International. Both have amazing cities like yours.
I like how y'all have y'all part organized in your system is well packed 🫶⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🫶

You should look into the wall control system. It is what I am using to display all of my lego. They are easily adjustable and easy to mount.
Great Q&A . nice to see some behind the scene thoughts. Keep it up

A drag strip for the speed champions on the island would be cool
I'm excited for your power- up! 🙌🏼
I'd like to request a music festival in your new city. ✌🏼😃
Love your channel. ❤
Will you reintegrate the Eiffel Towel into your city when you move into the studio?
Hey Jordan,
Another great episode. My question for the next episode is:
Have you considered purchasing the Horizon Express? Are you a fan of it? (Apologies if this has been asked before). Part two of the question: I’m the new warehouse, are you going to have the city to be a ‘cross section’ of a bigger city or a self contained city?
The system you use is the same I've been using for 15 years. I won't ever change. Cheers
Ask Bricksie: Who is your favorite LEGO UA-camr (excluding yourself and family)?
Ask Bricksie: As the helmets are my favourite Lego subtheme which ones are your favourites? Additionally I am so sad that they’re stopping that subtheme and truely hope for a comeback soon. Morning Bricksie! GO OILERS!!!
I use the open container system for technic beams, panels, and frames, and it works well for that. But I don't think it would work well for pieces of which you need a smaller volume readily available.
I'd love to see a separate STAR WARS big diorama utilizing your armies and ships! Be safe and well!
Brickheadz The Emperor, or would that be too far out of the comfortzone of Lego? Would have been cool to get. Much love from Norway!
Will you ever do tutorials on landscaping and trees? I always want to learn more ways to build that sort of thing
I think your space could be big enough to have different “seasons” represented in the landscape. We could have a permanent winter village and/or Lion Knights set up. Thanks for the video!

How about Brick Headz from the Matrix?
On estimate, how many lego sets and lego pieces do you have?

Agreed. I bought a bag of lego and more than half was NOT lego. Frustrating. Thanks for the time.

A back drop would be cool I think Lego in the backdrop, the Aston Martin DB5 is a cool one I like speed champions or the new Land Rover but good pick 👍.
What set(s) are going going to keep in your house when you move the warehouse? There has to be a special set you are going to keep at your house.
will you show pictures or videos of the new place before you move there?
What do you think will happen to your Lego when you retire? How long do you plan to keep the channel running?

What is your least favorite Lego theme?
Brickheads of The Muppets or of Sesame Street could be cool under the "Disney " umbrella
Lego is creating wayyy too many sets, prices are shooting up too fast. I think Lego is about to have serious competitors coming for them.
Could you provide links to the steralite drawers and acrylic containers you use?

QnA: hello Jordan, Danny here greetings from California, I’m a big fan of your channel because of Lego since I was a kid growing up. My question is are you going to have a Lego ninjago diorama in the new studio that you acquired I think you should combine all the sets plus the Lego mountain you built with the temples I think will be a good fit for the Lego city. Have a great day and God bless!
Any advice for someone who lives away from their bricks? I’m studying in Edmonton but my collection is in a different territory - miss being under the same roof as all my parts & minifigures
@bricksie- do you think you will get rid of your technic sets since you might be moving away from the theme since you might be running out of space/ running out of the love of technic??
in terms of money, maybe lol
but I’m not complaining about more choices
in terms of space too. unless you have a warehouse to store all your lego.
Will you pick up the new brick link designer program of the train shed?
How is the layout of the new warehouse going to effect the placement of certain themed set.
Oh
