    bro being too flexible will not make you less explosive, you just need to make sure you have strength through the mobility

    Court Practice started at 14h30 and finished at 15h30. I thought that a pro like you would train for 3+ hours daily.

    Hey Simon. Noticed you’re using a platform stance your practice. Are you switching? Anything technical-wise why? Thoughts you can share?

    Hey Simon, best of luck in Turkey. I know you are going to play double with Félix, am I mistaken? Possibly you have already played and even Got back to Sweden as you edit and post videos few days after than events take place. I also commented on Felix's post, really would like to watch you guys live, unfortunately we live in Istanbul and you play in Antalya and both cities are very far away from each other. So best of luck and hopefully see you in Istanbul one day, maybe. :)

    I was curious about what you said about being “ too flexible taking away your explosiveness”. How did you learn that you were too flexible? Is this a problem with all players or something specific with your body? I mean Djokovic seems pretty flexible and explosive, no?

    • @marktace1
      @marktace1 Рік тому

      Generally static stretching soon before playing or working out will impact performance. Doing it after playing is not usually considered a problem. People with the fast twitch gene tend to be less flexible. You wonder where Djokovic’s flexibility comes from, nature or nurture? It happens, my son is fast and extremely flexible.

      If your muscles are already stretched (lengthened too much), then your muscles won't have room to extend more.

      hes talked about this plenty of times in his previous videos. most of the time its an overall loss or if you win a few matches you basically break even. if you win the whole tournament you MIGHT make a little bit.

    with your fixed income, how do you afford to hit only on indoor courts? Where i live, it costs you your first newborn.
