Great talk, I would have loved to see more on the GPS tracking of this mountain range like how many GPS stations there are and where they are?
I saw only a brief description of 3-5mm of rise per year and that this is known because of GPS measurement but no real in depth talk about it. A couple of people at the end asked some questions regarding this and I was hoping to get more information about it but it didn't really go anywhere....
There really isn't much in the way of talk's on the internet that I have come across that touch on this topic, everyone just simply mentions that uplift is still happening but unfortunately no more information is given!
Watching this I saw two other people who seemed to be interested in this topic and I'm another which to me suggests that there's probably a lot more people out there that would be interested in the same thing.
    And so my search continues....

Headed for the Basin and Range next season..I have my eyes open. There are still major msteries, including the Antler Orogeny.

it would be interesting for a more fuller explanation of Mike Searle's interest in Basin and Range. Perhaps Francis Tucker Manns will shed some light on his "Major Mysteries" including Antler Orogeny. This winter a series of talks by Prof. Nick Zentner on the movement north from southerns US to Washington State which he labels the Baja movement.
