For anyone who wants to know what it feels like, it feels like your skin is getting tightened and it then loosens your muscles and helps with stiff muscles. Basically it's just tightening your muscles until they can't stretch anymore, then it loosens up. Kind of like a rubber band, you can get many different types of cups, including ones without fire. Usually the marks disappear overnight.
Edit:You can buy cupping kits without the flame as well and that can be placed on by yourself.

To the people who are saying this is REALLY BAD FOR YOU! Let me tell you, I was a swimmer for 8 years and both my brother and I have tendinitis on both our shoulders from swimming all those years, my brother has it really bad in one of his shoulders and we both had cupping done on our backs and shoulders and omg it helped soooooooo much I wished we could have done it more but we didn’t have the money to do it more. But it’s really great for you it helped so much, it helps relax and release the muscle that is very tensed up.
You can buy air cupping tools (something like this www.amazon.com/Premium-19-Acu-pressure-pointers-INCLUDED/dp/B003KJC2F4 ) and do it yourselves. Then you won't be worrying about cost anymore. There's no fire involved in the process, and I have been doing cupping for my mom with these tools since I was about 10.
I had 3 back surgeries and still cant go back to sports so maybe I need it, even though it looks scary.
