Love it, "just be a team player and put it in from the left". It doesn't matter what you are working on, I always consider who has to work on something after me, well done mate, glad I'm not the only team player!

Excellent format and commentary, I hope your channel grows quickly as it is spot on and I like that you included a mishap at the end which shows that rarely everything goes as expected.

Nice job , 1st one I ever did took me 90 mins and 2 leaks , that was 10 years ago , have done dozens since then and can now do it in 20 mins and get the occasional leak from something that I forget to tighten , nobody's perfect..... 😀

First ever job I got after qualifying was a Worcester return unit, water everywhere, turned it on and PCB was flashing all sorts, asked customer for hair dryer and eventually it worked, was crazy stressful. Every day a school day in this game.

I cut through the old manifold with an hack saw just past where the bypass connects then put the bypass pipe in the new manifold before fitting. Find it much easier this way. Great video as always 👍🏾

@@boilerstobathrooms6267 All went well, nice and easy. Old lady had multiple visits, noticed the plate could be a possible blockage issue in the future, bit tight so i took out the left hand manifold too, than put things together, before putting whole section back in one go, easy peasey. I put the PRV pin in the correct side incase you have to go back 🤣

Excellent job mate very clear I did one the other day and I think the bypass restriction fell out when removing. No CH now. Does the bypass restrictor go in the bypass assembly pipe? Cant see anything in the mi's... Novice at repairs, I do installs mainly

Then put the condensate trap back 😁 . I had a job getting the pump clip out till I realized it has a hole that locks on to a lug on the pump body preventing it from coming out straight no matter how hard you pull. just push it to the right a little then it came out no problem. Turned out mine was leaking from the plate washer badly eroded and the plate face itself being buckled from previous person over tightening the plate screw.😤

Just done one today, but only just seen this excellent video!
The plastic screw on crap was totally missing, so is somewhere in the system or boiler.
I removed and flushed plate hear ex, fit new flow adapter & prv (1 small leak on cold feed😁) but now there's no hot water....any clues please.
Btw, I have subbed your channel👌

Can’t believe you didn’t change the automatic air vent it’s so important this valve works and you could quite clearly see it has been leaking and won’t work efficiently to release the air during purging or future air ingress when the boilers pump pulls in air from the system . They cost no more than £15.00 and should not have been overlooked . Must admit though excellent footage and well done for showing this part being replaced most engineers would shy away from this repair . Are you doing a video on the dreaded flow switch in the baxi solo pf anytime soon ?

@@boilerstobathrooms6267 Good man I didn’t think you would have left that aav in having made all that effort to fit the new manifold so glad you cleared that up . Keep making your 60sec there really useful when I’m coming across the same sort of issues . 👍
