    I did not realize that holding the fiber in the left hand and drafting with the right make a left handed spinner. I have never used a saxony wheel so have never had to hold the fiber in my right hand or had an issue with using my left. Very nice looking wheel, glad you got it before he retired.

    Apparently I’m a “left-handed” spinner too (which I’m not, just like you’re not 😂) Lovely wheel, thanks for showing it off!!

    Such a joy to see your new spinning wheel in action. You did such a consistent finish on it!!!! Yes would love to see you spin and n the other three, especially the Kiwi which I think you might have? Sending you thoughts of loving kindness. K

    This is such a beautiful wheel! I too am a left handed spinner. If someone would have explained to me about Saxony wheels I would have never bought a right handed Wyatt Saxony wheel. It is made of mesquite wood and so lovely (I am its second owner). Only problem is the treadles are so slanted I am twisted when I spin. So, there she sits. I want to take it back to the maker and see what we can do (trade her in or modify?). Not too sure. It is a really expensive wheel and she deserves to be used every day. Thanks again for sharing! LuAnn

      Oh no! I’m so sorry LuAnn! Hopefully you can figure out a way to get the maker to help you out! On day, I dream of designing my own spinning wheel! One that any spinner can use, regardless of handedness 🤩

    Yay congratulations! I have exactly the same wheel (walnut, flyer on the right) I love it so much! I was thinking that maybe I should order extra plastic connectors for the treddles. Did you do this or do you think it not necesarry?

    • @SpinningSara
      @SpinningSara  16 днів тому +1

      I didn’t. But that isn’t to say I won’t. I’ve seen people be very creative with those connectors. One lady used hot glue sticks as replacements. They worked flawlessly. Another used clear plastic tubing. Also worked perfectly.
