want the young teams to juke it out all or nothing in the playoffs, Denver/Celtics at the top of their own conference, and it wont be that bad for them to win, they built their squad from the ground up and that would leave a good impression for them just like how gsw built their dynasty also it would be awesome if suns or clippers would win, cp3 and booker getting their 1st ring then kd aiming for his 3rd. similarly pg + wb for their first ring while kawhi adding to his collection like kd gsw like we all know is a league on their own but they arent invincible and are still within the play in bracket bucks want one too while giannis is in his prime, while raptors will have to push for another title run in the play in rounds now mavs, heat, 76ers would want grind up deep and hopefully win, or else they might lose their players
Miami Heat about to shock some people again like in 2019, Love is the perfect 4 alongside Bam and Jimmy and as long as their big 3 keeps playing to their level this team can be scary
Not having Golden State is disrespectful. They have statistically one of the best starting lineups in the nba. I understand they are TERRIBLE on the road and have the worst bench out of all the contenders. But at the end of the day. No team has ever beaten Steph, Klay, and Dray in a 7 games series where all 3 of them played every game. (Not talking about 2016) Their experience and talent alone still makes them a feared contender regardless of their weaknesses
What kind of video doesn't include the defending champions in the contender list? You added the Memphis Grizzlies but somehow not the reigning champion?
People talk a lot about Jokic, most teams winning chips in last 10 years were at least 2 all stars, only exception is Toronto (because GSW got injured) and maybe Giannis, but Giannis still had Jrue Holiday who was proven solid player and Middleton who was an allstar. Not saying Jokic would have won with same cast, but it is á fact that he needs some decent help. he has help in Murray and MPJ, 2 young players with little to no experience in playoffs. if Jokic had CP3 and KD EASY chip. if Jokic was on in Philly instead of Embiid, they would fight Bucks in Conf finals every year. The dude is great, but his supporting cast is meh. they had GREAT role players few years but whats the point of that when you dont have a true second and 3rd option.
As crazy as it sounds, I still wouldn’t count out the Warriors. They haven’t lost a Western conference playoff series since 2015. I still believe they could possibly do it until they show they can’t.

If KD wins a title in Phoenix, it would mean that Kevin Durant is definitely not a leader as Charles Barkley would say. Not that it doesn't mean that now, it would just cement that. Suns fans wouldn't care though
jokic might be the only ever player to average a 25 point triple double as a center, leading the west and absolutely commandeering his team to wins without anyone outside nuggets fans giving a damn. People are still trying to deny him of his 3rd mvp
I keep telling people, people usually have a great 2nd and 3rd option, either all stars or great veterans. Jokic has neither, Murray had 1 good playoff, still young, and MPJ is still young AF. I hope they step it up in playoffs this year
@@johnkerr7928 Ignoring the MVP talk they talk about "bad playoff performance", and how he only won one game against the warriors and got swept by suns which are both understandable considering he had to carry them past the blazers before the suns and against the warriors the Mavs also only won a single game because the also were relying on one superstar.
no steph curry in this video??? just wanna remind everyone klay/dray/steph have not lost a series while all on the floor together in a long time. (assuming they healthy)
@@madlad477 id argue the starters inability to close games has been the problem this year, a theme that isn't pretty entering the home stretch but they also haven't been healthy... which is eerily similar to a stretch they started last year as the team hit their stride at the beginning of the playoffs.

Denver/Celtics at the top of their own conference, and it wont be that bad for them to win, they built their squad from the ground up and that would leave a good impression for them just like how gsw built their dynasty
also it would be awesome if suns or clippers would win, cp3 and booker getting their 1st ring then kd aiming for his 3rd. similarly pg + wb for their first ring while kawhi adding to his collection like kd
gsw like we all know is a league on their own but they arent invincible and are still within the play in bracket
bucks want one too while giannis is in his prime, while raptors will have to push for another title run in the play in rounds
now mavs, heat, 76ers would want grind up deep and hopefully win, or else they might lose their players
Love the Chrono trigger music in the beginning 👏

Warriors are repeating even if they are in the play in game
Facts... and i don't think they will be in the play in either...
If you think the sixers have a shot, you probably not too bright 💀

Here goes dom counting out the warriors every year just like he did last season, they have never lost healthy what dont you understand about that?
Miami Heat about to shock some people again like in 2019, Love is the perfect 4 alongside Bam and Jimmy and as long as their big 3 keeps playing to their level this team can be scary
Idk we lost to the Hornets and we are very inconsistent
What big 3 lol? It's just Jimmy that's a big 1. Anyway you called it Heat are probably going to the conference finals as long as Jimmy stays healthy
Not including the warriors is crazy, especially when the grizzlies and clippers are in the video.
Crazy the warriors just won and they're not in this conversation

Not having Golden State is disrespectful. They have statistically one of the best starting lineups in the nba. I understand they are TERRIBLE on the road and have the worst bench out of all the contenders. But at the end of the day. No team has ever beaten Steph, Klay, and Dray in a 7 games series where all 3 of them played every game. (Not talking about 2016) Their experience and talent alone still makes them a feared contender regardless of their weaknesses
Me: I need to get started on my homework assignments
Dom: No way

My guy said the Suns championship window had closed before KD got there but still don’t know how the championship will impact his legacy?😂😂

As a Lakers fan, I think we're contenders this year!
What a joke
Accept defeat already bro! Don’t get your hopes high you will cry even harder, maybe next year!

Is the media merchants pod done? Loved those, sad to see its been so long (and doesn't seem to be coming back)
i'm a warriors fan first, but i think of teams that need to win it would be suns and boston, because i see those teams falling apart in a year or two
Cant believe that mavs werent mentioned Luka isnt getting old but hes seemed to reach a cieling with how much he can carry and i dont think an early round knockout is gonna convince kyrie to stay to try again
Cause mavs play no defense. And doncic can only flop so much per game
@@_Xds_ You have the wrong take bud. Luka and irving dont play defense but almost every other play is a 3 and D player, you clearly are just repeating shit and dont watch full games XD
Dom this is hella random but I've been slacking on watching the NBA this year, although I hope to ramp up for playoffs. This video made me realize how amazing this time is for the nba. Love the content
Lol no warriors is shade Dom… but i like it 🤲🏾 keep that energy
I love see the dub haters cry...

If KD wins a title in Phoenix, it would mean that Kevin Durant is definitely not a leader as Charles Barkley would say. Not that it doesn't mean that now, it would just cement that. Suns fans wouldn't care though

As a Laker fan after watching how they treated Russ I would be more than happy if the Clippers got the chip this yr.

jokic might be the only ever player to average a 25 point triple double as a center, leading the west and absolutely commandeering his team to wins without anyone outside nuggets fans giving a damn. People are still trying to deny him of his 3rd mvp
I keep telling people, people usually have a great 2nd and 3rd option, either all stars or great veterans. Jokic has neither, Murray had 1 good playoff, still young, and MPJ is still young AF. I hope they step it up in playoffs this year
Dude he has -300 odds to win mvp, obviously voters like him
@@johnkerr7928 Ignoring the MVP talk they talk about "bad playoff performance", and how he only won one game against the warriors and got swept by suns which are both understandable considering he had to carry them past the blazers before the suns and against the warriors the Mavs also only won a single game because the also were relying on one superstar.
its just sad how the nets are barely even a contender anymore. Everything was going well till Kd injured himself

No kings ? 😕
Mavs are either destroying everyone in the playoffs or getting swept

no steph curry in this video??? just wanna remind everyone klay/dray/steph have not lost a series while all on the floor together in a long time. (assuming they healthy)
Warriors don't get a bench tho
@@madlad477 you run 8-9 guys in the playoffs, steph, klay, poole, wiggs, dray, loon, gp2, donte is a great 8. bench ain't the problem its bigs.
@@arvinrandhawa5317 nah they ain't in the 9th seed just cause of bigs, their starting lineup is elite but that bench loses them games
@@madlad477 id argue the starters inability to close games has been the problem this year, a theme that isn't pretty entering the home stretch but they also haven't been healthy... which is eerily similar to a stretch they started last year as the team hit their stride at the beginning of the playoffs.
The Warriors are defending champs with their core intact, and haven't NOT made the finals since 2014 when making the playoffs. To not include them in a video where you include 8 teams is atrocious
He forgot the Warriors
Golden state is a contender

The big 👌 again for the warriors.
Wow some people never learn.
GSW's are EXACTLY where they want to be in the season.
No GSW (Total Disrespect btw) but you brought up the Grizzly's 😂
OMG 🤣😂😅🤣😂
