10 kills but no confederate (take at least 20% health of at least 6 enemies)? The High Caliber (take at least 40% health of at least 4 enemies) only seconds before the last kill? Killstealer confirmed! :D
This player set up his position extremely well, it's not easy to "steal" over 6 kills, but 10 kills is absolutely skill and good understanding of the optimal position of striking, not just dumb luck. Well played.
Yep. I'm just as annoyed as anyone else when I spend 5 minutes hammering a BB and some guy comes along with one stray bullet and steals my kill, but this was something quite different. He closed the deal when the rest of his team could not. So be it. He took them from a loss to a win, and that's what matters. I have always felt kill awarding was all wrong in WoWs. It's a team effort, but the kill has to go to someone. My opinion is that all kills should be assigned to the player that caused the most damage to a target. That will totally end the whole Kill Secure nonsense.
@@LarrysNetTube No its watching team mates weaken ships to nothing then firing the last couple shells on them for the kill. Amazingly smart play on his part. Didn't force anything just took his time and used both his guns and torpedoes effectively.

+Doobie On several kills (like the Isokaze @3:05 and the Myogi @10:05) he sent off all six torps against a target and then proceeded to rattle off a salvo at the ship which was already shot up to the brink of sinking and kill it causing all six torpedoes to be fired in vain - how's that "using them effecively"? I too can be "smart" when constantly being served up ships with
You cite a few instances to be nit-picky. I looked at the entirety of the game play to make my decision. Therein lies the difference between you and I. One or two ah shit(s) for you and his entire game play is crap. If you can do better than this player, put it up on UA-cam so we can witness your own greatness and pick it apart in a similar manner.

+Doobie I never claimed his entire game was crap - just that most of those kills were nothing more than finishing off almost dead ships and that the two instances I mentioned was more like proof of how _not_ to use your torps effectively instead of the opposite like you wrote since all twelve of those torps were completely useless. I'm not saying I could do it better, just that this wasn't as a great a game as "ten kills" would indicate. Since you seem to think I cherry-picked parts to prove my point - let's look at it all the way through, shall we? Kill #1: *Isokaze* @03:50 - He scored a single HE hit for 660HP about a minute earlier and then a second HE hit for 284HP for the kill. Kill #2: *Derzki* @04:40 - A single HE hit for 464HP on a DD that was going to burn to death within seconds anyway. Kill #3: *South Carolina* @05:18 - Three torps on a straightlining S. Carolina causing 26k+ HP worth of damage. Kill #4: *Wyoming* #1 @06:35 - 1990HP HE damage from a four HE volley and then a single torpedo for 3109HP more. Kill #5: *Myogi* @10:05 - A single HE hit on an already burning ship causing the final 479HP damage. Kill #6: *Derzki* #2 @11:45 - First two HE hits for 700HP and then a single HE shot making a massive 6030HP damage (No Detonation though!). Kill #7: *Kuma* @12:50 - Three HE hits combining for 732HP. Kill #8: *Phoenix* @13:08 - A volley with two HE hits making 934HP worth of damage. Kill #9: *Wyoming* #2 @13:20 - Impressively torp launching without locking the BB as target causing a full health Wyoming 43800HP damage with four torpedoes. Kill #10: *Langley* @15:29 - Ten HE hits on a helpless CV for 6716HP damage. To me, the only impressive play was #9. You might call sinking six ships (Isokaze, Derzki #1, Myogi, Derzki #2, Kuma & Phoenix) with just 12(!) hits for 3623HP plus the fluke 6030HP hit, "effective" if you want - I prefer thinking of it as more luck than skill, but I guess I'm just grumpy then? Even including the ridiculous 6k HE hit (from a DD that has a max HE damage of 2k nevertheless!) the inflicted damage that sunk three DDs, two CLs and a BB is still less than the HP of any single of those ships. Yeah, that's pretty damn "effective"... Anyways, I can't do better than this player - he maxed out on luck on a level that is absolutely ridiculous. _It doesn't mean I think he's a bad player at all_ - just that this particular game was more about having every single margin solidly on your side than about "amazingly smart play".
OK I'll bite here too. I agree with you Calle that this was incredible lucky 10 kill game. Definitely plenty of finishing off nearly dead ships. But I do think you were being a bit critical in your first post, IE: the 10:05 torps sent at the Myogi were shot when was just below half health - but now I'm being nit picky. I will say though that I think I played the best fight this battle offered. I was aggressive, used my guns all the time, fought the right ships (it was me or the 2nd Derzki or we would lose) and come on - I did win the match. I don't understand the negativity.
I thought your game play was fantastic, you turned and manoeuvred to avoid torps the correct way, you fired your guns without waiting for full salvo, you protected you team mates even though your Ishizuchi was a noob for sailing backwards (When will people learn it's not a good tactic) and to top it all, you did what very little players do, You killed 10 ships. Well Done Sir.
That is quite possibly the most epic game in WoW's I have ever seen. I can't believe Jingles hasn't hosted this one. It's such a shame WG went and ruined all the baby IJN destroyers :( There are a few lucky of us that managed to get the KKR/Fujin before they were deleted.
+STARSHIPTROOP How is this seal clubbing? Someone starts a new line, you drop down a few tiers to help him grind...Bob's your Uncle - your a seal clubber!
What tier captain skill was on that DD? If you are experienced playing the game, then drop a bunch of tiers, come upon a whole team of inexperienced players, it's called seal clubbing, simple
Stealing kills at its finest. 7 kills with only 5% HP left. If you only shoot once and get a kill, that's not seal clubbing. I wouldn't have posted a video like this , its embarrassing.
so many people think this game is based on kills, it has nothing to do with the amount of kills its all about the damage. This guy just got a whole lot of kill steals lol.
IJN DD guns, if used correctly, are extremely dangerous to enemy due to its low trajectory. Very easy to aim and target enemy weak points. Still don't understand why some IJN DD noobs don't use their guns more often. Timing and aiming is everything.
+hohenstaufenz Lower tiers IJN DD's have like, very weak guns that have quite a short range. For example the minekaze only has 7 kilometer guns , and the spotting range for her is 6.2 km without any upgrades/camo, hence firing basically guarantees the enemy to spot you and if they fire one salvo at you and it manages to hit you, because you're a DD with paper armor you're pretty much doomed. However starting at the fubuki you can invis-fire at the very edge of your detection range.
Yea, if youre detected by another japanee DD then i;d fire away as well. Don't understand why people absolutely refuse to fire. Once had a round where in my minekaze i went into the cap zone for a torp run to zone out other people, and saw the enemy minekaze (like, in 5 km of each other). We both blew smoke and still managed to see each other and i decide "fk it ima have a gun showdown with you" and the enemy minekaze just zips around and tries to dodge while not even firing. Obviously I kill him after setting her on fire and breaking 2 turrents rudder and engine.
+Neo Flyte He probably meant "XP in this actual battle". Given that so many kills were just a gun salvo at a low-health ship he probably did very little damage resulting in less XP. Not getting High Caliber until after your ninth kill fits with this. Two full base captures probably helped though.
+devastator5042 I agree. It is always pointless to let enemies live, if you can kill them. He did exactly what I want my team-members to do in all situations. In fact, he gave away his position by shooting at "healthy" targets in some situations, where I might not have done that in a JP DD. He was very lucky with 10 kills, but all the steal-talk is BS.
Did not enjoy this replay. The kills were either stolen, or easily obtained at the expense of a team mate's HP. Not teamplay IMO, a destroyer for my personal effect, is a heavy hitter who protects teammates from the shadows. Not lying in wait for the next severely weakened ship to trip on a leaf and explode.
You are the best kill stealer in the game :^)
hahaha you are so right lol like 6 kills has been stolen

Let this be a lesson for everyone. Don't waste your time with trying to torp a DD... Just shoot the damn thing.

Oh, and the torps that killed the Wyoming "without aiming" - that's a glitch in replays, he was totally lined up.
lol of the 10 kills he really only got 2 actual kills. avg dmg for a good game...

This is a good example of how and when you use your guns in an IJN DD - don't be afraid to use your guns!
You really are on a suicide mission! You've been awarded Last Ship Standing!!!

The real question is how many XP and credits that was worth.
4th torp hit was delicious

oh damn 10 kills how did you do that?
By watching bb's weaken ships, then shooting them from underneath them while they are reloading. thats how, happens all the time.
Holy shit .... wish i was that lucky :)
