- In this video, I'll be going over the hookup connections of an in-cylinder pressure transducer and we'll take a look at the running compression waveform. Thanks to all for watching!
Great job Terry. I think it's awesome how you built the transducer from scratch. The best news is that cylinder on your car looks spot on. 😉
Hey Glen! Building the interface for the transducer worked out pretty good. And the waveform looked pretty good. Have a great day and don't work too hard!
Great job Terry! Happy to see a new video. And on a very interesting subject! hope all is well.
Hey Mike! Just a little something to keep me busy. All is well on this end and hope you and family are doing well too.
Hope you're doing well. Also, hope to see more videos from you. I really enjoy watching your videos. Thanks
I've been doing well Steven and hope you're doing well also. Been busy working on 3D modeling for a kitchen and dining room makeover. Thanks for supporting the channel and have been trying to come up with a series which would be interesting to most viewers. Take care and have a great day!
Awesome clean waveform
Great content
Thanks! 😃
Didn’t know you had a video on this Terry!! Been studying this stuff for a few weeks now and finally bought a pico transducer kit. Super excited to try it this weekend.
Hey Matt! Hope you and family are doing well! Yes, I did three videos on the pressure transducer a little while back. Great that you got the Pico transducer kit and I know that you'll enjoy it as it has one of the fastest response time of any transducer that I've researched. I guess that's why it costs so much. As for me, I've been busy for the last few weeks in doing 3D modeling of our kitchen and dining room. What a job this is going to be! The wife wants to flip the kitchen and dining room, carry hard wood flooring throughout the den, kitchen and dining room. That means new cabinets, changing in the electrical, plumbing, lights, vent register relocations and the list goes on and on. Also, I'll have to knock down two walls and build another one. Got some free time on your hands, haha! Have a good one Matt!
Good clean waveform 👍
Yes, I was happy with the looks of it. Thanks Mario for the comment!
Thanks Terry, appreciate the time you took for this video!
You're welcome and thanks for the comment!
Been awhile since one of your videos popped up in my feed.
Yes, I wonder too how many gets on people's feed.
@@stuzman52 for a while they were showing up a lot
Nicely done, Terry! Like any new tool, it will take time to build experience enough to trust results. Your waveforms look excellent. Good point, to call that the expansion stroke. I keep forgetting that pesky detail, ha ha.
Thank you Dave! I was pretty happy that the waveform turned out good. Have a great day!
Super clean waveform. Just curious what of transducer are you using?
Hi David and it's a cheap transducer from China! The transducer shown in the video is '10bar-12VDC-1-5V'
@@stuzman52 thank you!
@@david619dc You are welcome!
thank for video
Nice! What model (part number) of transducer produced the waveform?
Cheap one from China! It's the one listed as 10 bar. ua-cam.com/users/redirect?event=comments&redir_token=QUFFLUhqbHlRWlZPTTcwYXlYbjdjWmVQQmVvRk0wR1Mxd3xBQ3Jtc0ttS2tBZy1XcXFVRUxoYXB5dVhWX1Utd3ZoVk1jVUhsUWN2SWZieHg1UmM4cHhubTdTb0J6c2RmUDhmb3pEWWpnZ3VMVU04STVEcW9OQ2N1NEFLVEdERFVZUE5XQm9rdTZUWVpyamlHV2VHOGVrRjI5RQ&q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.aliexpress.com%2Fitem%2F32356881868.html%3Fspm%3Da2g0o.productlist.0.0.7ae33d3eWhju4P%26algo_pvid%3D1bb16a08-b899-4f91-9c32-f56b209a85a2%26algo_expid%3D1bb16a08-b899-4f91-9c32-f56b209a85a2-17%26btsid%3D0bb0623016144268634101145ef596%26ws_ab_test%3Dsearchweb0_0%252Csearchweb201602_%252Csearchweb201603_
Is this 4 or 6 cylinder engine? Good Job Stutzman now you just need to show fuel injector current and voltage. Show some good and bad cylinders.
It's a four cylinder Sandra and thank you for the comment!
First?
Hello Terry I wanted to Thank You for your videos on the Suzuki Firenza. I have a 07 Suzuki Reno and it has the same engine. I have watched the ones with the timing belt which I replaced like 3 years ago. I just watched the ones of the head removal because my car was ticking really bad and I replaced the buckets (hydraulic lifters) because the ones that were on it were all collapsed. So after I put it back together and it was still ticking so I decided to take it back apart and am one of the valves was broken so now I'm in the process of taking the head to get it fixed then I will be putting it back together. But your videos have helped a lot. My car only has 83,500 miles on it. So I believe after this I am thinking it will last me a lot more years of driving. Once again Thank You.
Glad to hear that the Forenza videos helped you out!
